I love soul music, but during Australia's "White Australia Policy" during the 60's and 70's it was unavaliable, you had to go to Pommy record bars to order it from overseas and was expensive. It too was to protect the local Australian recording industry from a flood of imported music from overseas, but 'Pommy" immigrants to Australia loved this sort of music where it was avaliable in England! Motown was quite popular in Australia and a few black artists made it here on the radio, but not a lot.
Starts off a little cheesy but as soon as that vocal kicks off it's all wonderful. Great track.
