Northern Spaniards have a Celtic and Germanic admixture. I have visited Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Donostia, Asturias,etc) and all Spanish people that I have seen have all been White. In fact some of the oldest genes in Europe are found in Spain! In the north in particular there are many blue eyed people with varying shades of hair. They are not all that much "darker" than the average Brits (to whom they are closely related genetically through ancient migration from this area) >> Haplogroup R1b (Y-DNA)
@StephanieTeaCup Don't really care of your travels. I've been to Spain myself and have lived with Spanish people for couple of years. If they have the oldest genes in Europe it's because they are closest to Africa. We all came from Africa at some point in time and migrated.

In other words I never said anything of anyone looking less white. The whole of Spain is mixed with different people and different languages, some are blond and some have dark curly hair.
