  • Great post. Thanks for the insight. And as for below, ***youarestupid is correct. In many states, including WA, the feathered head MUST be attached to the bird at transport. So, this is best done at home and not in the field. Read your state hunting regs. In WA it is unlawful to: "Possess in the field or transport game birds unless a feathered head is left attached to each carcass, except falconry-caught birds."

  • Nice video thanks,, I don't vote much,, voted like.

  • I am not sure but I think the pheasant is going to walk with a limp after that.

  • That made me do a double take! Damn Efficient

  • Do you keep the head attached the whole time?

  • To the last poster, you my friend are fucking idiot! The wings are still attached to the breast. That is usually all that is ever taken due to the legs being to tough to eat most of the time anyway. He pulled the feet and guts out, but left the wings on the breast, so if they were to transport it, there would still be positive identification.

  • And of course, now, after that procedure is done, it is nearly impossible to positively identify which species and sex the dead bird is, which is why you had better have done this procedure "at home" and not "in the field" - as transporting game birds from the field without either a head and/or feathered wing still attached - is illegal in most if not all states.

  • I love your method lol, but ypu should carry a cooler around or something instead of putting the clean meat on the ground

  • very educational a great upload!

  • that poor bird lol

  • excellent video... thanks....

  • thankz man for the video

  • yea would this work for dove?

  • Does this work with smaller game birds? such as a pigeon.

  • @AdrianWoodward71 it works on spuggies

  • @srudyk what do you mean the blood get removed. rofl, the blood is the good part fewl.

  • thanks Chris, quick and easy way to prepare, thats what i needed

  • Lol, crap. I was doing it the stupid way. This way you barely need to use your knife at all!!! Great video, I'll need to try this next time I go out hunting.

  • @srudyk You dont need to bleed a pheasant

  • GREAT!!!

Tried this today and it completely was easy as the video shows it. ..Very simple with minimal mess!

  • dont you still need to gut the pheasant

  • just the crop, in which you can use a knife but it's pretty easy to just pull it off.

  • so when you pull the legs off the guts come out?

  • Try watchin the video it shows everything.

  • @tractorman96 No. When he pulled the legs off it took everything but the crop wings and breast.

  • yeah hang it in the sun for 2 weeks,it will be ready when its covered in maggots.

  • haha

  • dont do it in sd if u are not a true resident, if u are from sd u don;t have cry like sdxtech

  • thats a great way to clean the bird. dont do it that way south dakota in the field. without a foot, head or wing, a warden will not know if it is a rooster or hen.
