  • what is the reason of adding Eno?? though i love ur recipe ..........

  • @afrinbengid

Eno is Fruit Salt. I used it to make fluffy dhokla, it actually gives a boost to dhokla. so i used it. Hope when u make this recipe u will love it. Thnx a lot for writing in.

  • @afrinbengid From what I understand of cooking, 'Eno' or any fruit salt helps in making any batter instantly fluffy. It is a way of cutting down the process of fermenting the batter. Traditionally Dhokla is lengthy process. Dal needs to be soaked for several hours and all that to make the batter light and fluffy to get that sponginess. You can try adding 'Eno' or any other fruit salt substitute in any recipe that requires fluffiness and sponginess.

  • its so easy.... tried it today ... my family loved it!! Thanks for posting this video

  • from where to get eno fruit salt

  • @sindhu19771

If you are in India, you should look for ENO. It is comomnly available at grocery store.

If you are outside somewhere/US then ask for Fruit Salt at grocery store.

    ENO is Fruit Salt only.

  • wow di bahut acchi recipe hai.. yeh bataiye k aapney sugar kab mix kiya hai ismey??? ya fir zaruri nahi hai sugar daalna???

  • @gayu12345

Thnx a lot. It is important to add sugar, watch the video once again to see the sugar addition by me.

Sugar is added twice in the recipe: 1. In the Besan (Gram Flour) mixture and 2. While making the water syrup for it. Let me know if need any other kind of information.
