  • First year?! Ok, where did get the magic powders :) Love the music too. It fits well with the plants. Amazing :)

  • WOW!!! That moved me! For me that is the most inspirational post I have ever seen!!! Thank you! I'm starting mine now that I've seen that. WOW!!!

  • Wow! Your garden is simply beautiful. I love, love, love all the flowers mixed in with the vegs. I would have loved to hear what type of flowers you use and why you pick them and put them where you did. I know certain flowers are good for attracting certain insects and keeping some away from the other plants. Thank you for sharing. :0) I hope you have a video with more detailed information regarding your watering source. Sounds very interesting.

  • Beautiful Garden! But for those of us who don't have the space for a garden like this, I found The Bucket Garden is the answer. The Garden Master, a man of experience in the agriculture industry created a system for organic veggies with low watering, less time but still as productive. Enough to sustain a large family and more! Do your research on The Garden Master

  • besides putting a bucket in the bottom of the container, do you water by hand every day? it would seem like a lot of work just to water all the plants. And how do you raise the soil above the water resevoir? Is it mostly hot or cool in your climate?

  • nice

  • couldn't have picked worse music

  • wow i love it,better than my garden

  • Awesome thanks Im inspired, love the music

  • this is an awsome movie, ill have to try this! my garden rosks and im so excited to begin making video this year. EVERYONE! IF YOU LIKE GARDENING TIPS, HOWTO'S, AND GARDEN VLOGS, CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL. COMING THIS SPRING I WILL BE MAKING A GARDEN VLOG EVERY WEEK.

  • Music spoils this

  • You should see the gardening system I found! The Most Advanced Gardening System In The World. You can actually grow anywhere in the world with it and at any time or temperature. When I was in Arizona I visited there’re demonstration gardens. They were awesome!! They provide e-mail support and video instruction and demonstrations. They also provide a garden clinic once a month that you can attend and that will soon be televised online. The Garden Master dot com Check it out!

  • Beautiful backyard vegetable garden! You can really be proud!

  • Lovely garden and nicely done video...where abouts is this garden at?

  • Big thumbs down on the music. Garden is beautiful though

  • love all the close ups--I think a wider view to give it all context so we know how it all comes together would be good; I too think the music doesn't match the visual--but the visuals are wonderful

  • this is like garden porn!

  • Excellent video! Love the garden. I work in a collective garden and use, like you, all 3 dimensions to grow as much as I can. Come check the videos from the Montreal Permaculture Guild!

  • WOW-------------------------

  • i'm having troube wiv gardenning. . .how do u stop cats & foxes from getting at yr vege

  • i have that problem too, you will just have to cover with netting idealy but have also found a device which connects to your hose and has a sensor when the sensor detects movement it then sprays the area also making a clicking noise, im gonna try that this year hopefully it will work :)

  • Would you share the name/brand of device you are trying? and keep us updated on it's progress. Thanks

  • yeah of coarse i will, its a garden gear garden pest repeller, ive been a bit busy recently so have not used but will do this week and let you know how its going

  • Awesome Garden..great Music!!!

  • I'll bet that this video could be 100 times better if the maker would get rid of the music and tell us all about his or her garden.

  • Cool!!

    Beautiful garden. Many idea.

  • I'm glad to see you kept your mint in a container. We sowed a few seeds and it exploded! Mint everywhere!

  • nice setup.

  • I love your garden. Your plants are very productive!

I am glad to see that you are putting in a melon patch. Post a vid and let us see how it turns out.

Also, perhaps I wasn't paying attention but there were three things missing from your garden.

the first two are potatoes and corn. They are both VERY easy to grow and they are big producers from my experience.

Lastly, you should look into a grape vine. I have 6 vines, 4 different varieties. I get about 20 lbs of fruit off each vine.

  • Thanks. Sure, I will post a video about our melon patch. You are correct, we havn't try potato and corn yet. Perhaps next year. We don't have space for grape vine in the backyard. Maybe we can use frontyard but we need to come out a good design for landcape.

  • You have an amazing garden, I'm sure you spend a good deal of effort on this. I know, last years harvest alone almost had me asking for help. I wonder, do you have to have help harvesting your crops?

  • We do not have this much that would need help to harvest. Sometimes we will ask friends to come and help themselves.

  • Beautiful! But how do you do to give all these plants water? I mean especially when its really hot for a long time, how do you do? And how much in time do you spend every day whith your plants?

  • I use the following methods:

    1. Add a water reservior at the bottom of the container. Do not drill holes at the bottom but at sides in the lower part of the pot. Raise the soil above the holes.

    2. For pots with holes at the bottom, put a plastic buket or bowl at the bottom and cover the top with a piece of metal mesh.

    3. Add water absorbing crystals into soil.

    4. Place a water bottle with small holes at bottom.

  • did you do the work your self or do you have a hired gardener?

  • We do the garden ourselves except for mowing the lawn. Occasionally, we hire helpers to do some labor intensive works.

  • Wow! You have a spectacular Garden! I dreamed of having a garden filled with flowers. But i live in the tropics and i tried growing these flowery plants but instead i just wasted my money, they all died.

  • Your garden is beautiful. It shows what can be done when you have a lot of money to spend.

  • Nice, Its cool to see well producing garden that doesn't take up a huge amount of land. How much land do you think you used in total for the garden?

  • It was about 1000 SFT last year. We added 500 SFT more this year.

  • wow you did an great job, i hope more people realize that this is the way to go cuase having an acre of grass that needs mowed every week at 3.50 a gallon a rising quickly, isnt feesable anymore,

  • AMAZING! you have a beautiful backyard! I am going to attempt to have a garden this year, but the more i watch this I am debating doing containers.

The land is very small, and not too great looking soil wise, but this is amazing! good for you!

  • Wow! This really give s me hope!!! It's so neat because it will be my first year too and I like the way that everything is in its own pot.... Thanks for posting!

  • What is your cosy each year. Also what do you spray on the leafs to make the bugs not want it.

  • I don't know how much was spent last year. Because it was the first year, we've spent a lot on seeds, seedlins, pots, fence, overhang, stones, fertilizer, soil, as well as labor for removing the grass. We do not spray any chemicals, but we use biological products, lady beatles, screen protection, and traps.

  • Heaps of space, nice garden.

  • This was your first year gardening??? Wow!

  • How much did you eat out of the potted garden ?? A beautiul display ,

  • Thanks. In addition to suppling the whole family in growing season, we've got a lot for friends and neighbours too.

  • Thanks for sharing this video, I found it through a search for gardening!

  • nothing like a little techno while watching a garden!!

  • What's the music?

  • Gorgeous garden, well done.
