sothsumasfaren: The Fraser flows from the North-Eastern BC, travels through the Rockies, Caribou, Cascade and Coastal mountain ranges there are a few spots to play around in the rapids. Every river widens out by the Ocean it's slowing down!

I'm a kayaker, and love paddling the SF Payette and saw nothing wrong with these guys running their jet boats up it. In fact, I thought is was pretty damn awesome and would have loved to have been in the boat with them. If a kayaker can't avoid a jetboat, they don't need to be on the river anyway not to mention most jetboats that I've encountered on the river have been quite considerate of us kayakers and waited until we were out of the way before giving it the throttle.

That is the coolest thing I've ever seen...huge skill to run that in a jet boat. Chit, I grew up kayaking the canyon and it's a tough section to boat....can't believe you took a jet boat up it. Is that a first ascent or am I a bit behind....never heard of anyone running that section. That's HUGE!
