  • Very nice video... Greetings from Registro Italiano Volvo 240 (volvo240.it)

  • I remember watching this video when it had like 46 views. Wonderful video, you really convey the volvo/owner connection. :)

  • @Pressurecorpus14 , Thank´s, funny how a car can touch so many. As i said, this car has soul :)

  • Love it, really captures the love one has for their 240...... Yes the car has a soul and Volvo's new cars albeit, loaded with electronics and toys, don't have the soul of the 240......

  • Nice Video, I also love My volvos (have 2 -240´s) they are the best of all...!

  • Thank you for this. Though I drive much newer cars, which are faster and more comfortable, I keep my 240 in storage because I can't find the heart to get rid of it. The 240 is so full of soul, it's undeniable!

  • @fghhhgdfgdf True, this car have soul....

  • @fghhhgdfgdf Makes me want to cry... Due to my stupidity I no longer have my 93 240 wagon... I dropped a bolt in the timing case one day and forgot about it. A month later the belt shredded... It was my first car.

  • goodmanyerself! great video

  • Some cars have heart and soul. The 240 is most definately one of them.

  • @callumk5 absolutely, I think the Volvo 240 has to be ONE of the most reliable cars ever made as well even now. Those things are designed to go 300k plus without major repairs. The only problem is the little repairs along the way are expensive but that's remedied by the fact it rarely needs repairs lol Safe and reliable. IT's too bad they don't make cars like this now. It's all about Toys, looks, and nonsense now. Engines on these cars are hard to find because they almost never die lol.

  • @longhairsRcool True, and the design also is a kind of timeless. The biggest problem for me is to do with rust. At wintertime the roads is full of salt to remove the ice, but it kills the car :(

  • @nabbetorpveien For sure dude, there are rust stoppers out there that you can fill in the rust spots that are there. (I have done this on my 240 to keep the tiny rust spots from spreading). In total it's old but an amazingly reliable car. From what I've noticed newer cars are full of toys but don't seem to be as older cars like this. Another example of a classic reliable car - Honda CRX HF which gets 50mpg too lol. Why do you think a lot of newer cars are lacking nowadays in your opinion?

  • Videoen bringer næsten tårer i øjnene :) At du også lige fik selealarmen med var genialt

  • Takk for hyggelig kommentar : )
