June Havoc was a Connecticut resident for decades-- a wonderful friend to animals, she took in many, many strays. A lovely human being to say the least. Known & loved by kings & queens, as well as we common folk. Always a delight to run into-- she'll be very missed.

wow, rare footage. the context is june was struggling mightily, her sister was making a mint doing what she did, while june was trying to make it mainstream. this was a big comeback for her.

Thank you so much for this! Read her books - awesome woman! She will always be a legend, a true one-of-a-kind talent - and a marathon dancer! She was absolutely amazing. I wish I could have heard the stories she could tell. Her only child, a daughter, preceded her in death in 1998. RIP June. You are not forgotten...=^^=
