I greatly enjoy your videos. I have to wonder if you wouldn't be well advised to carry a more robust knife, such as a Mora. That would have saved you time. No need for constructing a handle and sheath. And a Mora is a knife you could employ for batoning, should such a need arise. I carry a small tarp in my PSK. Probably not as small as your kit but I like having a tarp. I have a challenge for you though. Your ground mat is great if it is dry out but what happens if it is wet? One person suggested putting your collected material in a trash bag which I think is a good idea but still what if it is wet. It wouldn't be thick enough and you would loose heat to the ground. Can you think of a material that is light and water proof that you could put something like down in?
I really like how you kept tabs of time throughout. Really provides perspective that you need to start working right away if you are working with very little to start with. One of the best shelter create videos I have seen!
