As always, the 5D has a better sharpness, but in this case it's almost too sharp, to the point where you can see aliasing in the power lines and other fine details.
Too sharp for my taste. The Sony has a good mix here.
I'm surprised the XL-H1A does very good here and its IQ is closer to the XF300's than what I actually saw from my hand-on tests between these two cameras (XH-A1 and XF300 PAL version). You must have spent a good deal of time setting up this test. Thanks so much for sharing this.

thanks for this. Hate to admit it, but the 5D MkII still comes out tops from image quality. I'm days away from going for a XF300 too!
