Kids go to boot camp thinking war will be just like their favorite video game; Call of Duty and then when the buddy they went through boot camp with and multiple firefights with together gets his head blown off next to you its a different story or if your the only one who lives or gets wounded.
C0D1Kevin, I think it is perfectly appropriate. Green Day *nailed* what it is like coming home in ruins, which is why it is worth asking which fights are worth it. Some of them are, I know I'd walk back in for some things. Throwing around good people for bullshit is another thing entirely.

These words stuck with me to this day planning of joining ROTC when i graduate high school three more years.

i got sworn in the navy 6 weeks ago and im proud to serve my country...even if that means i might have to die for it someday. To the civilians out there...you want to thank us for what we're doin for you...dont forget what you're doin for us.you send packages to us, you pray for us, etc. while it's an honor to serve each and everyone of you, i wanna thank ya'll.
