i so want the BBC/EBU to release this version. (EBU - European Broadcasting Union hold all the rights to any Eurovision Entry upon submital for the contest, hence musical embargoes before a country's voting date - no song may be performed or played before the date of the choosing country's voting day)

That's incorrect. In the UK BBC Radio 2 broadcast all the songs in full for around a month before the 'Making Your Mind Up'/'Eurovision: Your Decision'. Also in Ireland, RTE Radio 1 also play their choices. This version of 'Love Shine A Light' was originally released as the B-side to the single back in 1997, and has been on numerous compliation albums since. It's even on iTunes! The remix is the same guys behind the Motiv8 mix of Gina G's entry in 1996 hence the soundalike.

This remix is actually by Steve Rodway aka Motiv8 who also worked in Gina G, Spice Girls, Dubstar, Gala, Kym Mazelle and even Pulp during the mid 90's. He also produced his own material, 'Rocking For Myself' and 'Break The Chain'.
