There was an independent Zelda movie just released called the Hero of Time. It was definitely not a masterpiece, but the music is amazing. Because the music is a masterpiece, it's easy to get into. Although the cast itself was kinda lolz

Also as already mentioned, the role of Link (you, the player / watcher of the movie) is a very special one since he never spoke a word - and that's one of the best things about Zelda, even if it won't be a problem to give him a voice novadays, like all the other characters as well.

I think thats what makes the players also connect a bit extra to the character somehow.

A video game or a comic are TWO completely different narratives from film. Video games should remain games. Comics remain comics. They are fine the way they are, and we should EMBRACE Zelda in its current medium, it is where it belongs, and will ultimately lose what is important about the games.

Nintendo has refused movie rights to many big-wig Hollywood names over the decades concerning a LoZ film, so I doubt they've suddenly changed their minds.

Secondly, with all due respect, I would NOT hire Terry Gilliam to direct a Legend of Zelda film. He is a great director, but his style is inappropriate for the kind of mood the LoZ franchise has, and it would clash on catastrophic levels.

One, I love the character design of Zelda and the face of Diane Kruger but they need to make the ears pointed.

Second, James McAvoy does'nt look like Link at all.
