ルルーシュが嘘つきであると看破できたのは、ナナリーへの嫉妬を­通してルルーシュが冷酷さの裏に持つ世界への優しさに気づく事が­出来たからだと思いますね・・・。

だから、そんな優しい兄が自分を殺すわけがないと・・・。

偽りの記憶であっても、ルルーシュが生きながらえることでその目­的、優しい世界が作られるのであれば、兄との日々を想う気持ちは­本物になるのですね・・・。

Damn this is the 100th + time watching this scene I still cry streams of tears I have never cried this much or felt so sorry over a fictional character ever. Rolo was a truely unique character its sad he gets misunderstood and hated so much from fans of the show especially after episode 13 he had plenty of reason for doing what he did to Shirley and it was her fault for going in there alone when there was a terrorist in the building.

Rolo, at the end, he still loves his brother

In this scene, I think Rolo did what he did (besides saving Lelouch) because he somehow sensed Lelouch's hatred towards him, especially after Shirley's demise, and this was probably the only way to redeem himself. Even though I watched Code Geass in english subtitles back then, this version somehow has a stronger impact on me.. especially when he said "I'm no longer a tool! Because this is my own will!" T_T Thanks for uploading it, wingnbutterfly.

Ahhh I'm so glad someone uploaded this. And the comments - I'm glad to finally hear people who see who he was instead of hating Rolo. He didn't know what family was, so he clung to the only shred that may, that he beleived in, Lulu. And that's why he wanted to kill Nunally, why he killed Shirley.

I would have cried if it wasn't so damn hard for me to cry at anime. I felt so terrible though. ;________;

i agree with you there. i swear my mind was a total blank when he kept using his geass. and when he died... well.. let just say the blank quickly exploded into a multitude of "WHY?! WHY, ROLLO?? WHYYYYYY?!!!!??!"

the poor child.. i'm dont know about you, but i think Lulu loved him a little. you cant NOT love a kid who goes through all THAT just to have you as his brother. i applaud Lulu for giving Rolo a brother in the end.
