Please, free the children from religious, superstitious thinking and the intolerance and poverty that comes along with it. Please let the children have the benefit of a secular upbringing where human, scientific and rationale can influence the young mind for the future wealth and freedom of the world. Just as it is seen in the rich, free, tolerant and democratic societies of e.g. Scandinavia and the Netherlands.
Atheism is not a religion. It's of course the lack of religion. Which for me equals freethinking and ability to think and discuss matters like politics and ethics critically. I base my love for this way of thinking on the prosperity and free life that I enjoy, a life that is based on wealth and freedom grown out of secular and atheistic thinking in my part of the world.

I find your comment relevant and intelligent. I would like to explain that it is not the sound of the kid's voice or the Arabic language that I have something against. If he was singing a poem, a Cheb Chaled song or even singing aloud from the Perodic System in Arabic I would only think it was cool. What I do have something against is the content of the religions and the poison I think it is for the human mind. And it often starts with indoctrination of kids. This I oppose.

I also give lots of food to the Food Bank for people who can't afford to buy food.

I was trying to explain the difference that Muslim men in other countries are not as extreme as men in Afghanistan. Currently Afghan is going through some political changes, and the Shariah law is mixed up wit h personal beliefs. Hopefully, they can smooth it out the right way.

If he was singing a poem, a Cheb Chaled song or even singing aloud from the Perodic System in Arabic I would only think it was cool. What I do have something against is the content of the religions and the poison I think it is for the human mind. And it often starts with indoctrination of kids. This I oppose.

Btw I would like to say that I travel and work in the Arab world and I like both the language and looks of the Arabs. Just to make it clear that I'm not at all against being Arab. I would non the less like to avoid religion as I believe it spawns war and blocks progress and prosperity. E.g. the entire Arab (or rather Arab Muslim) world has a gross domestic product that's smaller than Spain's. I blame Islam and religious culture for this. I'll gladly hear your opion or opposition.

But to be washed from mistakes we pray 5 time, and someone that prays, this person can't do anything bad.... well it's a long discusion, there are so many things, BUT I really feel very bad how people misunderstand Islam.

People learn from their mistakes. There's no reason to pray about them; just asking forgiveness once is enough and IF THE REQUEST IS SINCERE, God will forgive. Then don't make the same mistake again. God knows we aren't perfect. He created us that way for good reasons which are too long to go into here.
God knows how each of us feels about Him. We don't need to pray to prove it. I think He would prefer that we find a flower and sit next to it, appreciating its depth of color and aroma.

Yes!! That's EXACTLY WHAT I DO. I speak to God every day. I am in contact with Him always, especially when I do Yoga; somehow it makes the "connection" clear; it removes the "static". He sends perfect answers to my questions. I was very sick 3 years ago; I though I was going to die. God took me by the hand and led me to the people I needed to see to be cured. I am now perfectly healthy. I was so very grateful to be loved and cared for so unconditionally.

Excuse me if I am wrong, but I thought Easter was the celebration of Jesus' birth. Muslims also believe in Jesus, yet we believe he was not the son of God though. One, because God is capable of all things and he gave the virgin a baby. He didn't insert his "semen" into her, so how could he be the biological father of Jesus? No - Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' birth. Good Friday (I can never understand why it's called that) was the day He was crucified. Easter Sunday is the day he was ressurected.
God is the Father of all of us. Jesus was not saved from being murdered. I've always thought of it this way: he died and was ressurected to show us that we don't die when our bodies die. That could be wrong, though.

No, I haven't watched it. I try to stay away from all videos about extremist/extremism. Firstly, if Iran wants to kill several hundreds of innocent people, let them. THEY have to deal with gods punishment. No, I don't know how they can be stopped. I put my trust in God, though.

How do you feel about Jesus? I watched a video of a Muslim man who became a Christian. He felt that Jesus would help him and be gentle with him so he turned to Jesus. Masab Yousef, the son of Hamas leader Hassan Yousef, became Christian because of the words, "Love thy enemy."

That's quite odd, because Christianity is so similar to Islam, and we have the words "Mend relations with the ones who have broken it with YOU." Odd, but fine. Yes, we may get a little fired when defending our religion, but we do that because we are discriminated and stereotyped everyday. For the most part, people TWIST interpretations of our religion to drive those who are interested away. Because people are afraid of Islam expanding.

I do work. I work very hard. I am constantly taking courses to learn how best to communicate with God. And I do volunteer work and give LOTS of money to charities, especially animal charities.
I was raised Christian but I don't like religion. I love Jesus, though and that doesn't change just because I don't go to church.

Yes, I know money can't buy love, but it buys food for animals in wildlife rehabilitation shelters and it buys food, clothing and counselling for women and their children who have had to flee from abusive relationships. I also give lots of food to the Food Bank for people who can't afford to buy food.
The course I'm currently taking is called, "The Purpose of Life". Right now we're working on cultivating an opposite feeling when a negative feeling arises. It's actually quite difficult.

Yes, my only regret would be leaving my sons without their mother. They love me very much and would have a difficult time if I were to die young. But I've told them that if that should ever happen, I'll be there waiting for them when they die and not to worry because God will take always take good care of me and of them, no matter what happens.

I was trying to explain the difference that Muslim men in other countries are not as extreme as men in Afghanistan. Currently Afghan is going through some political changes, and the Shariah law is mixed up wit h personal beliefs. Hopefully, they can smooth it out the right way.

It took me 4 years to get that degree because it's a Honours degree; I have a total of 3 degrees which took me 9 and 1/2 years to earn. I took Anthropolgy and Botany at the same time which is why it took me 5 and 1/2 years to get degrees that should have taken 3 years.

In the beginning, I tried to have a civilized conversation. It was your attitude, and your caustic insults to my religion ( as a whole) that threw me off into insulting you. I am willing to talk, but normally small talks on religion usually lead to bad tempers.

Religion IS god. There are no free tickets to heaven. Oops, heaven is also a trait of religion. My bad.

Religion is God? He'll be interested to know that.
You don't know how I act; you only know what I say. My relationship with God could be better, but I'm working on it AND I'm using the right tools to do that. I won't allow any religion to come between me and God.
