I KNOW!!! I was soooooo pissed when my Lakers traded him away to get that bonafide scrub Kwame Brown, I knew it was a bad move the moment it was announced. I loved Caron when he was with the team He complimented Kobe's game quite well. Congrats to the Mavs for rescuing him from that awlful mess in D.C. that Gilbert started. That's true, lol. But then again I had NO idea such a trade like that was possible (until I began finding out what made "expiring contracts" so valuable to teams looking to free up cap space in the offseason, like what the Grizzlies were trying to do at the time). Lakers acquiring Gasol was like Clyde Drexler being dealt to the Rockets halfway through that '95 season in which they wound up repeating. Even so, I still miss Caron though. A player like that should NEVER be traded for a scrub.

Butler and Haywood make the mavs immensely better. I can't wait for them to join the team. And we *finally* got rid of J-Ho. Something we should've done a LONG time ago. And Gooden produced good numbers, but he's not a center. He's a PF pretending to be a center. Which is why Dallas's defensive numbers dropped dramatically while Dampier has had an injured knee. Which is why, while Butler will be a great addition, so will Haywood.
