Love the music to this film, love the film, but I remember sitting in the cinema almost crying as a kid. they killed Prime, Skywarp and Thundercracker off in the space of 10 minutes!

Everyone remembers the film fondly but it killed Transformers G1.

Man, 80's cartoons were the SHIT!! I grew up watching Transformers and cartoons like: Marshal Bravestarr, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Tranzor Z, Pole Position, M.A.S.K., and Turbo Teen, just to name a few.

(sidenote: Wheeled Warriors had the BEST intro for its time. And that's how it was in the 80s. Some of the plots were silly, but DAMN, did the music kick ass. If anything, I wish studios would learn that, that music can also help a show. Just needs the right kind though.
