  • I suggest you use that spear and go hunting polar bears.

  • pin the animal to the ground ! will you eat that or is it just for fun?

  • ever think of using leather body armour iv killed all kinds of wild boar with both spear and knife with no dogs or maybe 2-3 bay dogs at most had hogs try and bite me,cut me and run me over all have failed when it charges spear it.... it impales it self and wear leather chaps or leggings that wrap completly around your legs ....btw never never run its a good way to get hurt generaly the first 1 to turn and run dies in the wild

  • FUCKING KILL SOMETHING

  • Hey your videos are great!

  • Aaaaaw maaaaan! I was hoping to see you actually DO it! LOL! Good vid. I don't know about all that waiting in camo three feet from the beast, though. I think I'd rather sling that sucker from 50 feet away while running away screaming for my life.

  • "I'm going to show you what I've learned from something I've never done myself."

    WEAK

  • Does this company sell quality hafts as well as spearheads? That stick in the video looked fairly breakable.

  • Typical American, talking about and telling someone how to to something he has never done.

  • @jjmnky typical youtube dipshit that dosnt know to keep there piehole shut unless they have something good to say.....

  • were did you get that blade

  • soo how much do you get from cold steel for the sponsorship?

  • @MegaPokerMon Not a dime Cold Steel had a good selection of products at a reasonable price, a lot of people do not have a lot of money to spend, and they give you a good bang for your buck. We also promote other knife makers etc but they are more expensive and not everyone can afford them. Look at our field knife video I promote just about everyone.

  • @shilohtv sorry lol. just a little joke. seemed like every video had coldsteel stuff. I hope ur not too mad. Just one bit of advice on the spear. You do want to fireharden the end of a primitive spear but make sure you dont have a pure point. take the very tip off with a knife/saw. It just keeps you from having to cut out the tip when it breaks off in the animal. You dont want it to be too thin at the end. Warning most primitive methods are really illegal so check 1st or make sure ur desperate.

  • @MegaPokerMon I am not mad at all you have a right to say what you like

  • @shilohtv I was just teasing you a little bit....I like how you throw stuff at your producer lol

  • SO...which is the best recommended spear availble for lions?

  • @fimafengfimafeng Cold Steel Samburu

  • @shilohtv i have that one.the onl\y thing i dont like about it is the handle breaks

  • The Cold Steel Samburu is for throwing check out the link with Jaren Allen of the Minnesota Vikings spearing an elk with it here on youtube. Also for thrusting the Cold Steel boar spear is a great spear.

  • nice knife/spearhead bushman gotta have you can stab;em then pull out sharpen spear and continue stabing love it.

  • nice knife/spearhead bushman gotta have

  • I'd be pretty miffed if that sweet knife came off stuck in the animal and my prey ran away.

  • @justaman6972 It will not come off you can tie it on or even put in a screw if you like it was designed to be used as both, I am with you if it was my only knife I would not risk it, but if it was a second or you just wanted to try it in a non-emergency then it is a inexpensive way to do it.

  • @shilohtv hey man great vids! I have a question for you though: could you put together a video on "notched javelins" they're used with an additional stick either the stick or the javelin has a notch and the stick is used to hurl the spear in lieu of hand throwing, not sure what to call it other than a javelin.

  • @SeriousBzns its called an Atlal It consists of a shaft with a cup or a spur, which may be integrated into the weapon or made separately and attached, in which the butt of the projectile, properly called a dart, rests. The atlatl is held in one hand, gripped near the end farthest from the cup. The dart is thrown by the action of the upper arm and wrist in combination with the atlatl as an extension of the throwing arm, adding significant force through increased angular momentum.

  • The Cold Steel Boar Spear is even better.

  • or you could just set a spear trap.....

  • i used to love spearing wild pigs but i am way to fat now

  • Lot of the going around lol

  • @guardian22553 lol i wonder y

  • @guardian22553 Use the Samburu from a tree stand !! Not to hard just bait the damn things.

  • the snub nose spear more compack twice the killing power lol

  • it is a magnum with my fat butt behind it lol

  • i rather not use the metal but nice video.

  • ya man il watch it when u put it up

    happy hunting

  • Ok my friend

  • now go do it

by yourself no dogs pinning the boar down

with the handlier holding a leg

  • I will try my best to do my wild kingdom Jim Fowler Impression take care and thanks for watching

  • @machinegunmayhem You do realize, a trained warrior form ancient times, could kill a Lion with a spear? Food for thought...

Hell, I'm positive you could kill a Grizzly bear with a spear if you knew what you were doing, in fact, people have killed Grizzly's with large Bowie knives

  • @Meixafuhellzman2 Oh sorry *from* misspell there,

although you have to also realize, that most warriors from ancient times, would aim for the head and throat, witch most hunters wont do, cause they want to usually mount trophy's on there wall, and a big hole in your trophy is a bad thing

  • I live in AR but will be in Tex for church camp in Jasper this coming weekend hop u kill a big one.

  • God's Peace have a great time

  • If u do video it bud

  • We plan to I think we will start with Hogs there are a ton in Texas

  • Ok do it

  • plan to during the season

  • Is it made in China?

  • Yes they are but sadly most knife makers except for the custom ones have gone off shore

  • @shilohtv: I'm just trying to make a point. Lots ppl say Chinese products are junk. But some seems to think China products are both good to fair quality, and affordable, like this spear video shows.

  • @danpt2000 They are high quality,

  • Yup i put my bushman on an ax handle it is a great tooL

  • They are a darn good tool, and really good blades

  • Where can I get a cold steel Bush man in Canada?

  • Knife Zone

    Regina, Saskatchewan

    Canada

    Toll Free: 1-866-88KNIFE (1-866-885-6433)

  • LeBarrons Outdoor Supplies in Ontario, use a search engine and you'll find them !

  • Interesting. Why doesn't the Cold Steel Bushman come with an end cap?

Stalking skills need to be really sharp too.

  • I guess because it is such a good deal financially if they keep adding things it will take the price up, a lot of people use a piece of cork or wood, and are the type of people who love doing that kind of thing themselves and experimenting.
