Truly awful. This is another shining example of a lame hipster band relying on beards, bad haircuts, androgynous stage persona and PBR for a connection to an audience. They think, "Hey, lets have a sing along without substance as to fool an audience into cognitive connections to Lennon!"
Well the crowd certainly seems to enjoy the music. Some bands are studio bands, some bands sound good at huge arenas and some bands sound great in mid-sized bars like this one. I hardly see Denver at the bloodstone of great Indie bands. I would put Portland or Brooklyn way ahead of a hick town like Denver. I don't think these guys are trying to open for U2, they seem to be perfectly happy playing mid-sized gigs and there's a lot of much more successful Indie bands out there that suck

No, wait.... they're from Bangor in Ireland and made it well before they ventured to the states. I have to agree though, WORKOUT are pretty shit. Could be half- decent though with a little work. Never been to Denver but if this is what's on at night, I wont be any time soon. I'm Rick James bitch!!
