  • george michael hogs stephens time on the chat show, he comes over as a right idiot, gay or straight it's his attitude that gets him the bad reputation. he says me, my, i, what an idiot. parky and stephen fry are clearly pissed off

  • That was such sexy flirting from Fry! ^-^

Horribly sad his incredible genes won't be pass on...

  • I have no problem with homosexuality but I did get annoyed when this was meant to be an interview with Steven Fry and Yet George Michael some how made it all about him for about 3 minutes. Steven i thes kinda guy everybody can respect not like George Michael who likes to shout his sexuality from the rooftops and always makes a big issue of it. Ok you like to fuck guys, who gives a shit!

  • @smithytri89 I think that's more the nature of the programme. I don't remember ever watching an episode of Parkinson and it ever only being about one celebrity at one time.

  • @smithytri89 I agree. As a homosexual myself I fucking hate how George Michael announces himself as a role model then acts like an egocentric, insecure prick. Stephen is the exact opposite. He can express and laugh about his gayness without making it big deal.

  • gay people are sexually confused, yep there I said it pretty bold statement for someone not cleaver as fry! love him all the same though.

  • @sksnkton Really now? Gay people are attracted to what they have and what they know. Straight people want something they don't have and have no experience with. Straight people are the sexually confused ones. Last time I checked, gay people don't bash straight people then go to a motel and fuck someone of the opposite sex. But straight people will bash gays and fucking someone of the same sex in a motel.

You Heteros are the confused ones.

  • @SeanTheOriginal Biology..

  • @sksnkton

People who think homosexuality is unnatural are mentally challenged.

There, see? I can make bold statements too! This one, however, is probably true.

  • @sksnkton that's funny because you see there's this science you've never heard of called "biology", which has documented numerous cases of homosexual behaviour in animals, including primates.

Also, for the record, not being an intolerant idiot doesn't mean I'm gay. This is the sort of conclusions intolerant idiots come to.

Anyway, I'm not really interested in having an argument with someone like you, I just wanted to make fun of you, because I think that's how to deal with bigotry.

  • @seban678 I don't show animosity towards gays, so it's not intolerance, just have an opinion, just doesn't sit well with me if i'm being totally honest.

  • @sksnkton I admire your honesty (and restraint). But not showing that you can't tolerate the existence of something doesn't mean you're not being intolerant. And saying that homosexuality is some kind of mental disorder is pretty offensive.

If you absolutely have to spread your (in most people's view wrong) opinion, don't pass it off as science, because it isn't.

  • @seban678 Overly patriarchal society + liberalism = rampant homosexuality! :P

  • @sksnkton No genetics does all the work or God if you belive in he/she/it

  • @sksnkton

    Part 1

Actually cultural influence only really has anything to do with personal acceptance and openness about homosexuality. Sexuality is much more complex than either / ors. It's not just straight / bi / gay, it's more of a spectrum with emphasis on preference. We're not locked into being attracted to strictly one sex alone. Lots of (for the most part) straight men, can find highly effeminate males sexually attractive. It can be only a very subtle desire, but subtle desire are ...

  • @sksnkton

    Part 2

...often repressed, particularly in western culture. A very significant reason (and perhaps not the only one) for it is to do with the condemnation of homosexuality in catholicism. Homophobia is deeply routed in our history, and history resonates well into the present. The result, in the present post-enlightenment (or current), is a society which hasn't quite entirely recovered from the morality of an ancient text that doesn't stand up today in all of it's teachings. (cont)

  • @sksnkton

    Part 3

Though we're more advanced morally than what we were 2000 years ago, and I defy anyone to try and prove, through a logical process the immorality of homosexuality, without also condemning all sexuality with it. I'll give a stab at actually giving you a few reasons why heterosexuality and procreation is more immoral than homosexual sex if you want, but that backlash would be a me just being a tad puerile. The fact is the act itself is in no way malicious. (cont)

  • @sksnkton

    Part 4

It harms no-one (depending on what crazy filth you're into, you know knives, tasers or whatever). And don't give me the HIV argument because that's utter nonsense in the argument in it's immorality. STDs affect heterosexuals too and that is irrelevant to the innocent intent behind love making. Also, don't give me the "it's unnatural" crap either because what dildos and cockrings and fake tits and hell even condoms aren't natural but we still indulge in all said things. (cont)

  • @sksnkton

    Part 5

Humans are a product of nature, so logically anything we do is, in a way inherently natural. Besides homosexuality has been observed amongst other animal species. I went off on a bit of a torrent there, but to return to what you said about "rampant homosexuality". There's a certain air about that makes it sound as though it's, somehow catching, and dangerous which to me betrays a certain bigotry. To sum up briefly. You're wrong. And I find your view shallow and detestable.

  • @PugzM Well I have a better understanding now thank you

  • @SeanTheOriginal

Fighting intolerance with more intolerance! What a brilliant idea!

You're a great spokesperson for homosexuals

  • George Michael is a grade A bell end.

  • George Michael is not a bad man, it seems, but compared to Stephen Fry here everything he says comes across as pretty inane.

  • Stephens Picnic-reference is just AMAZING!

  • Lord Fry. I like the sound of that :D

  • thank you so much for this video. Stephen Fry is an amazing person.

  • So when will Fry get his knighthood?

  • @JolandaCeplak Think he's turned the offer down a couple of times.

  • George Michael is annoying. I'd almost turn gay for Stephen Fry if he asked me to though. Almost.

  • Lord Stephen fry :')

  • Brilliantly articulate man-he should be gilded.

  • george michael is very rude to stephen fry in this

  • what does Lord Fry say at 5:00

  • @veegta83 he says '30 all' He is keeping the scores of the discussion between parkinson and george michael, using tennis scoring (:

  • Stephen Fry Legend

  • Don't see controversy on parky much!

  • the problem george michael had was not homophobia, it was twatophobia. people react badly to twats and twattishness.i have twatophobia, and am unashamed to confess it. it causes a physical reaction in me: i, for instance, bring myself out in a rash. maybe GM suffers from it, too... that'd explain the hectic colouring of his skin...

hate it when anyone won't shut hell up and allow stephen fry to finish. hate it.

  • "June 2008 I have a day off, so I'm very excited"

    Ahhahaa. I love this man.

  • George Michael was right about the language in the legal world; I don't know about other countries but in English law homosexual sex is described in such nasty and condemnatory terms (e.g. vile and unnatural acts), IN the letter of the law. They don't describe what pedophiles do anywhere near as badly as they do what two consenting male adults might get up to.

  • George I love you all the same!

  • Who's the third guy (non parkinson, not fry)?

  • @johntkucz The third guy is George Michael

  • George Michael!!!

  • what is it that darling stephen says at about 05:01? i cant seem to hear it properly :(

  • dangeloso: Stephen says: "30 all" at 5:01. He's comparing the conversation between Parkinson and George to a tennis match, and himself to a spectator turning his head from side to side to watch.

  • thanks for that, i thought he said dirty doll x)

  • dangeloso: I thought your line was funnier! dirty doll= hilarious.

  • aww :) cheers :D

  • Parkinson loves himself...cannot stand him

  • im sure he calls him john at .20..........

  • haha yeah he did, which through me and then i couldnt remember george michaels name for the next minute and a half!

  • George Michael isn't dull, he's shy and careful

  • yup

  • Why should the fact that someone is gay change your opinion of them? They are either good at what they do or not, and you either like them or not. ...Good upload though

  • way to pander to the crowd. lets talk about how everyone shud be treated equal should we? o other completely obvious things. the guy was just being honest.

  • lol, never knew stephen was gay. I guess I should have noticed this from the kind of comedy he does. Doesn't change my opinion on him though: He is a god.

  • @Tronite his homosexual nature makes him more god than he already was in your previous opinion of him. you should see his interview about how he reacts on female actions which other would find arousing, it's mysteriously brilliant

  • @Tronite how did u not know ? hhahaah

  • George Michael is so dull compared to Stephen Fry.

  • True, but so is nearly everyone else.

  • Thats a point

  • stephen always puts a smile on my face. what a great british institution!!

  • 5.02 when Stephen Fry says '30 all'- brilliant

  • I didn't get the joke there - what does that mean? Thanks :)

  • george michal is a TWAT

  • Then why are you here watching Fry-related videos you fool? Go and attack someone who deserves it and leave Stephen alone. (Yes now you might refer to me as a posh cunt because I love Stephen but I'm damn proud of it).

  • MISOMERLOVER, are you responding to ACCIDENTSINSPACE, who further replied to my comment above, with the following:

    > He's a p[art of the establishment. He is up his own arse.

    > He prattles and rattles off History they taught him at University.

    > All lies. He gives manic depression a bad name.

Dunno if SOPHIEISONFIRE deleted his/her comment.

  • I did delete his/her comments. I won't tolerate ignorant, obnoxious comments on my videos.

But as always you may feel free to comment as you wish.

  • liking stephen fry doesn't make you posh, i like fry, but im not posh ; ) i dont have the bank account for it!

  • 1 I admire Stephen Fry because of all the wonderful things that he is--I do not give a damn that many others think otherwise, or how many share my view.

    . . .

  • 2 Loving someone because everybody else says they do evokes images of The Emperor's New Clothes.

    Its opposite--

    > "I take the position opposite everyone's else's,

    > because I define myself by my uniqueness."

evokes images of teens being rude, dressing in black, poking and sticking metal through holes all over their bodies, and seeking to look as ugly as they can--simply because it sets them apart from everyone else ... looking just like everyone else seeking to be rude, etc.

  • Does anyone else think Hugh Laurie and Stephen would make a great couple? I can imagine them snuggled up in the evening, Stephen reading and Hugh asleep, curled up next to him. X3

    I <3 Stephen =]

  • Dear Britain, Can I keep Stephen?.... .please!

  • George moans too much - Stephen is right to say that George's life is a picnic compared with many people's lives. I think that was the most polite way of telling someone to 'stop bloody complaining you spoiled little arse' that I've ever heard !

  • Omg i agree, parky has already interviewed him, its stephen's turn now. Please STFU!!!

  • Very well phrased. Nods at every word of yours. There are to many famous people that are so up themselves. Fortunately, there is also people like Stephen Fry, who's grounded, wise and thoughtful.

  • I disagree.

1 If Fry had been interviewed first, with Michael next, and Fry sitting with them interjected, would you then be as vehement in protesting, "Stephen needs to shut up! It is George's turn!"?

2 There are countless programmes where the format is that guests come out one at a time, the preceding one leaving before the next one comes in. Has it ever occured to you that there is a reason for that?

    . . .

  • Likewise, has it ever occured to you that Parkinson and O'Grady are aware of their format and meant it to be so--even choosing which guests to put together, avoiding pairings where guest(s) would sit quiet and bored while the one sitting closest to Parkinson's chair or O'Grady's table spoke?

    . . .

  • > There are to [sic] many famous people that

    > are so up themselves

3 That applies as much to faceless people who are so up themselves that they say, "Oh, shut up Mr A while Mr B sitting with you is talking--I want to listen only to him!".

  • I miss eli stone, great show

  • I think stephen is a great man. Hes someone that you would want to be your friend, hes funny, charming, witty and incredibly inelligent. Its so sad that someone like him and hugh laurie who make us laugh so much suffer from the awful thing depression. I know that he once tryed to kill himself but then had second thoughts before doing it. I for one am glad that he changed his mind and continues to charm and make us all laugh.

  • He's certainly changed my life and inspired me to admit to others that I have manic depression myself. He's a great man.

  • He is the kind of Guy who you will remain absolutely silent while he speaks. And you could enjoy it so much that the time would fly waaay too quickly, and you would very much want him to say more.

  • exactly - perfectly put :)

    (I've been here hours!!)

  • @katie2333 He tried to kill himself twice. Does Hugh Laurie have depression also?

  • Really, George you VERY rich.

Get a grip, if your PERSONAL life being dragged into the public eye is upsetting you. Then keep your mouth shut about it on fucking tv.

He's a human being and he's entitled to just as much peach and happiness as everyone else.

But he's well paid for being deprived of it when he chooses to be.

Being gay has nothing to do with that.

  • wtf george michael we would like to hear from stephen fry please

  • stephen is sticky and fluffly and lovely.

    and adorable, adorable man.

  • ...and ever so slightly, deliciously moist.....

  • You sounds like an M&s advert.

But your sentiments are agreed with.

  • ty. i was referring to stephen's bit on "a bit of fry and laurie". search for "lovely stephen" or... "lovely stephen fry" and you'll see. :D

    cheers.

  • Ah right.

I see. Sorry man! that did seem strange to unknowing eyes

  • haha. no reason to apologize. np.

  • 3.12 - god michael SHUT UP!

  • Yeah, George spoke too much. I think we might have learned/beein inspired by something from what Stephen Fry had to say instead of George Michael's "Me, me, me" rant. But never mind.... bring back 'A bit of Fry and Laurie' :P

  • Heat argument between Parkinson and Michael and I couldn't help wanting to do something drastic to make him shut his mouth. He took some of the time which could be spent on listening to interesting and witty talk by Stephen. Instead we were forced to listen to his rumblings of discontent of the problems he sees with his homosexuality. I don't it matters for the the press if he's gay, I think it's because he's sleeping with someone right in front of the camera. Usually, that's brought up in media

  • Oi you -the fool in the beard- shut the fuck up!

  • George's problems with homophobia seem to stem from his somewhat immature atittude to his sexuality. As edwclayton123 stated, he seems to be living in the past. Public toilets were indeed the only place for a gay man to go, when homosexuality had the stigma that it did in those times. However now, there is simply no need for it! Parky is absolutely right, Michael is bringing these problems upon himself.

  • george michael dragging the conversation there

  • 30 all! Stephen's so brilliant.

  • I've never understood that bit. Could someone exaplin cos it seems like a great joke!

  • 30 all is a reference to tennis. Stephen makes this comment implying that Parky and George Michael are in a tennis match; batting comments back and forth between them trying to win the argument.

  • Shut up, George!
