I cried for about a week when Steo died, I remember when I was sick in hospital after I had a liver transplant and I should have stayed in there, I begged the doctors to let me go to the boyzone concert I already had tickets for, they let me go accompanied by two nurses and The bad got told I was there and what was wrong with me, The nurses took me to the front of the arena and Seven keeled on the stage in front of me and sang to me, It's still the most amazing moment of my life <3 RIP Steven.

I never really knew Boyzone, just some of their songs, but when I hear this song and what his band mates did for him it touches me deeply and I have to cry.
...seem to have such a great love for him.I wish ppl in the states were just as open to excepting and loving someone who is gay.All of the members in Boyzone weren't even gay,and they just loved him so much like a brother.This should be a lesson to us all.To love everyone no matter who they are,who they love,what race they are.We just need to accept and love one another.

i wasn't a huge fan of boyzone but when i was in grade 5 i realised that i was different. i researched people who had come out and there was Stephen. he was my inspireration to tell the world. but i cold not do this till years later and although in some aspects telling people made it worse, i feel like a better person for it. i do not have to hide. Stephen will be missed greatly, he is the reason I had the courage to come out when I did. I had just come home from a Westlife concert when I decided to tell everyone, including my dad who is the pastor of my home church. Stephen we love you, and your life and music will not be forgotten.

Stephens mother asked Ronan to sing something at the funeral.
He chose this song because he and Stephen would sing it together often in the car,dressing room etc,he said Stephens harmony's when they sang it were incredible.
He wasn't sure that he would cope with performing it at the funeral,but it was an outstanding and heartbreaking performance.
@HaNnAhBhAm the Boyzone fans are so proud of the group,Ronan,Mikey,Shane and Keith all conducted themselves with great dignity in the days after Steo's passing and still do.

after ro sang this at his funeral I could not listening to this song at all even though it wont ro singing it.. just the song would remind me so hard about all this and back till october 2009 .. but when Im sad theres only one thing I wanna do and that is to go hear it.. and then it just makes me more sad.. and u get to that point where things just cant get whose .. @mssawmia he died because he had an undiagnosed heart defect.
The heart when pumping correctly keep natural fluids from building in the lungs.
Because of the heart fault the fluids filled his lungs and he died of pulminary oedema.
RIP Stephen love you always !

i wasn't a huge fan of boyzone but when i was in grade 5 i realised that i was different. i researched people who had come out and there was Stephen. he was my inspireration to tell the world. but i cold not do this till years later and although in some aspects telling people made it worse, i feel like a better person for it. i do not have to hide. Stephen was my inspiration and thanks to him i am not in the dark anymore. Thank You Stephen

Stephen will be missed greatly, he is the reason I had the courage to come out when I did. I had just come home from a Westlife concert when I decided to tell everyone, including my dad who is the pastor of my home church. Stephen we love you, and your life and music will not be forgotten.

I am A MASSIVE boyzone fan and what i heard the news that awful Sunday morning that Stephen had sadly died i was gutted and soo upset :( its took me a while 2 come 2 terms with it as he was so young :( nearly a year has passed and always think about him :) the memorial in London was so moving and was just perfect, RIP Superman xxx

Stephens mother asked Ronan to sing something at the funeral.
He chose this song because he and Stephen would sing it together often in the car,dressing room etc,he said Stephens harmony's when they sang it were incredible.
He wasn't sure that he would cope with performing it at the funeral,but it was an outstanding and heartbreaking performance.

@HaNnAhBhAm the Boyzone fans are so proud of the group,Ronan,Mikey,Shane and Keith all conducted themselves with great dignity in the days after Steo's passing and still do.
They flew home with his body to Ireland and arranged the whole funeral.
They even stayed with him throughout the night sleeping by his side in the church the night before his funeral because he hated being alone.
I think maybe the pride we feel in them is an understatement.

I'm not the biggest fan of pop music, but I know a damn decent human being when I see one. Stephen was definitely that....and seeing his band-mates interviewed about his death on Sky News moved me to tears....it was obvious how much he meant to those closest to him. Sleep well, Stephen.

after ro sang this at his funeral I could not listening to this song at all even though it wont ro singing it.. just the song would remind me so hard about all this and back till october 2009 .. but when Im sad theres only one thing I wanna do and that is to go hear it.. and then it just makes me more sad.. and u get to that point where things just cant get whose ..
