my cousin shot a doe with his bow this morning and we looked from 7am to 12 and never found a drop of blood, but his arrow was not sticking in the ground so we know he hit it. and we used 2 dogs but they couldnt find it either

Something that you may want to try is mounting a small handheld beta or digital camera where the counter weight / silencer / whatever you want to call it, would normally screw into your bow. All bows have the threaded hole for it and, w/my Mathews Switchback it only took some a stock hardware angle pc. that's already drilled and a few nuts and bolts. (and my camera of course) What the bow sees, the cam sees and you will get no probs. w/a wobbly camera.

I shot a 8 point 2 years ago and when i skinned him out i found that he had been shot in the ass an neck with a bow. he still had the arrow in his neck and a broar head in his hip. the arrows broke off on both end and he healed up around his holes. amazing animals.

Actually, if you listened closely, you would have heard that he originally shot the deer with the bow a week prior to the ending of this tape. In the tape, he says his cousin shot the deer on the opening day of shotgun season. Therefore, he was not bowhunting during shotgun season, thus doing nothing illegal.

Only people who do not realize how weak and fragile the human body actually is would call this unfair, we were not born with claws, talons, or fangs. Now with that said if this animal was killed completely out of sport and not to eat then i totally agree, however if they ate the animal then go archer. Deer meat good!! Also do you realize how hard it is to accurately shoot a bow? it isn't like using a rifle with a scope.
