  • this was a good film but you get the point

  • i wish they'd remake it(dont give a shit about oh no dont remake it dont remake it)stfu and dont watch the remake and bitch cuz its not "classic" even though it would have been if movies back then were made in 3d or some cgi shit.Nostalgia shouldnt be a fucking factor determining whether or not a movie was bad in the first place.

  • they used the "nightmare before christmas" song for this trailer????

  • NOSTALGIA OVERLOAD!

  • awwh I just re watched this! I remember watching it as a kid :)

    I lovee it :)

  • I want shrooms now.

  • Ok, so why did they have 'What's this?' from Nightmare before Christmas playing at the end of the trailer :P

  • Oh.. I watched when I was kid and find it at last, after so long time T_T

  • @LeavesofWinter me too ;p

  • I was 8 years old when this came out way back in 1996. To some of you kids that's a long time ago , but for me I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in school and I would think of this movie while I was in class. I also remember the Disney Adventure magazines and they advertised this movie. I need to read the book , but this film was part of my childhood , along with ``Toy Story'' ``Hunchback of Notre Dame'' , ``Space Jam'' , ``Hercules'' , Arthur on PBS and Beatles music.

  • Someone must tell me if the re-mastered addition of this film is good. I have the restored version from 1999 (or somewhere in that time slot) as well as the Nightmare Before Christmas addition from that year. We bought the new special addition of TNBC(or as I call it the "special SPECIAL" addition) and while the video quality is nice the colors are so saturated we can barley stand it. Because this movies actually brighter then TNBC I can only imagine how bright THIS film is.

  • nostalgia critic

  • I saw the movie and liked it.

I read the book and loved it.

I saw the movie again and hated it because it butchered the book so much.

  • @timeparadox888 - I'm not in any hurry to see the movie. I used to like Nightmare Before Christmas when I was a kid but now my love for it has dulled.

  • This movie is enjoyable for the animation, and a few other things... A lot is unexplained, like where did a Rhino come from especially when it was in the clouds, and where did a mechanical shark come from? Although, I must admit, the shark scene, even though it doesn't make any sense whatsoever is pretty cool.

  • "Rhinos!

    They scare little boys!

    Some fascinating parents!

Don't bring him much joy, that's Randy!"

thumbs up if you know where this is from...

  • @coopercastille - Actually, I believe the line is "Assassinating parents don't bring him much joy"

  • @justaguyfriend You're probably right, that makes more sense, but it sounded more like 'fascinating' to me as well. Either way, a redeeming effort after the rather forced Let's Play last week.

  • @LoafOfPint - I was paying more attention to the clips of the video game. I haven't played it since the early 90's and I was just floored to see how cool it was. And thinking how sad it was that he never went through the purple door. I guess there are YouTube videos for that. But... Maybe PushingUpRoses should tackle this game instead.

  • @coopercastille

I have it as my ringtone xD

  • @coopercastille It's actually "Assassinating parents" :P

  • @coopercastille Nostalgia Critic

  • @coopercastille omg i just watched that video. thats the power of the NC :)

  • 0:19

  • this movie used to scare me when i was younger, this and the nightmare before christmas

  • It took me a while to realize that the worm was Lupin and I was shocked when I found out...

  • @94xSuperAngel And Aunt Sponge and the Glowworm are Professor Sprout.

  • This movie came out, the day and year I was born. :O

  • 0:18, Its jack!! :D xD

  • @Haxorzero Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. :)

  • @Bammer2001 - Yea! :) It looks just like him. I think The Nightmare Before Christmas was made first though. :D

  • I've watched this movie a long time ago and I kinda wanna watch it all over again. :)

  • 1:11 dosen't that song sound familiar...I know wut it is Wh_t's Th_s

  • you know how at the end all those kids eat the peach, they say it was real tasty, but like it landed on the top of the empire state building, all these bugs were in there, and they didnt really have an outhouse that james or anyone could go take a dump or piss in, not to mention how bruised that thing would definatley be and im pretty sure im missing things!

  • cocaine is a hell of a drug.

  • MY fav movie of all times

  • wow... i never noticed that was jack as the pirate captain when i was little lol, i loved this movie but i was still a little scared of it too XD

  • This movie used to give me nightmare's as a child!

  • Tim burton really knows how to get you attention when he uses any nightmare before christmas song. Like I wasnt even looking at the tv, and herd a song from it, and now had to see the movie cause its burton-related XD

  • If I watched this again... It would still scare me... I can't even remember watching this as a kid though. .__.

  • Ha... I watched this today at school. It was so cute.

  • To be honest, this ad actruly dampens the quality of the movie, it makes it look like a generic, so-so movie, when in truth its a artful master peice.

  • i stopped my porn to watch this trailer and im not even kidding

  • @juicejon1 It would of been creepier if you masterbated over this material.

  • @juicejon1 I'm hoping you left out "and I also stopped masturbating" for brevity's sake rather than it not being true.

  • @juicejon1 Thank you for that information...

  • I hated the centipede.

  • 0:10 I thought he said "Holy Shitbricks!"

  • My daughter ask me for this movie , kind of weird. Downloading in 720p...

  • I was Glowworm In my school production. Really dissapointed at first. Turned out to love it. Now I'm Willy Wonka In you geussed it Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.

  • one of the best Disney movies, the 90's had the best shit, idk wtf is happening now.

  • They'll say James! James! James! How are ya! Isn't it a lovely day!

  • A giant peach smashed 10 peoples cars.

  • I just realized how creepy this movie really is...

  • In 1:05 It's Jack From The Nightmare Before Christmas!

  • OMG we're doing the stage version of this at school! I love this book (and movie), and I get to play my favorite character, Centipede! Yay! In the play the Grasshopper and the Centipede have some much less interaction (at least in our script it does). I was looking forward to telling my friend Jerry (Grasshopper) to bite me.

  • "What's this" from THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS starts playing at 1:10!

  • anyone else notice that "what's this" from nightmare before christmas starts playing at 1:10

  • @OneEyedGecko its because Tim Burton and Danny Elfman and best friends, Danny Elfman wrote the music for Nightmare Before Christmas, it wasnt in the film but its probably to symbolise Elfman

  • god cant watch hate that

  • this was my fav movie as a child :) xD

  • sigh...I miss this alot I saw this in 2nd grade, 4th grade I want this on Blu Ray!!!

  • @Xenodude2000 Me too!!

  • holy shit jack skellington is in this i freakin love him......Im gonna marry him o wait o_0........... he dead damn =-c

  • Those crocodile tongues must be so dank!!!

  • This brings back sooo many memories. I watched this a couple months ago and felt like I was 6 again. I never knew until a few months ago that the skeleton in the shipwreck was jack. and the only reason why he is there is because this is the first film that tim burton was involved in the creating of. Love it <3

  • @Vampeng This was not Tim Burton's first film. Think of Pee Wee's Big Adventure and Batman! And Tim Burton was involved in this film very slightly.

  • @Jumbif I meant to say "one of his first" haha

  • @Vampeng

Jack is there because this is from the same Director of "The nightmare before Christmas," Henry Selick. Tim had nothing to do with this, except he was one of the producers.

  • The song at the end of the trailer is Nightmare Before Christma's Christmas Town's Song. xD

  • I loved this movie ever since I was little, though, I might say, it did disturb me just a slight bit. xD

  • i love this movie

  • Actually, this movie explains a lot about how I turned out.

  • LOL Nightmare before christmas music at the end!

  • I freakin loved this when I was little. It was the only Tim Burton movie that didn't scare the crap outta me.
