@diilijethro pretty much those coats rolled of the lines back in the days by the thousands they are the best coat simple rugard warm awesome and the boondock saints ware them so even awesomer :P

@diilijethro yeah well you go type in pea coat in ebay and see how many there are i only asked becuase i noticed that one he has is satin lined not the heavy quilted version i just bought one a few weeks ago from an army contractor

@randomrazr They are great winter coats as long as you don't get them wet. Also good for early spring if it is still cold.

Nice Ive been rocking a pea coat for like 5 years now and love it. I think I paid 580 bucks for mine though since its more of a brand name + cashmere inside. But it will not do you wrong regardless of what you get, keeps you extremely warm.

yes!! ebay. its like a treasure hunt. good treasure. watch out for fakes though. if its too good. its too good. those pea coats look warm but i dont want to sound like im wearing a daiper around. why is it called a pea coat. from the pea region?

@PavlovSandor FROM WIKIPEDIA: The term "pea coat" originated from the Dutch or West Frisian word pijjekker, in which pij referred to the type of cloth used, which was called "Pilot cloth", a coarse kind of twilled blue cloth with a nap on one side. The cloth was sometimes called P-cloth for the initial letter of the word and the garment made from it was called a p-jacket - later a pea coat.
