Jody Watley, on her youtube broadcast after the Shalamar UnSung, mentioned that the show does not cover enough angles or get to the context of deeper issues. I am glad for the show period, as we all wonder - what happened to so & so. For Stacy, her sister started drugs at a young age (16 I think) and to this day is still ravaged by drugs. It factored into Stacy's strong need to get back to family.

Something similar happened to my friend... someone was blasting a Stacy song (Attack Of The Name Game) and my friend just had to go ask who sung the song because he recognized the music but thought it was odd that it was not Mariah singing Heartbreaker..... he was amazed that he'd never heard of Stacy before he heard the car blasting the music. He was kind of shocked to learn that she'd been recording since 1979 when she was age 12 or something and has put out somewhere around 11 or 12 albums.
