That hemlet test is now officially the worst test I4ve EVER seen. First they tap a helmet with a mace and say it isn't effective because this blunt object didn't pierce the metal, which btw looks an awful lot like iron, then they absolutely wham an axe into it and declare it destructive even though it did almost the exact same amount of damage.

I'm going to have to stop watching this now.

I'm from Egypt, mate. I had my DNA tested in London where I live and was delighted and proud when I found out that I'm about 50% ancient Egyptian(Ramses,Tut,Imhotep) and the other 50% is a mixture of Greek, Roman, Arab, Nubian, Persian, English,Turkish and Hebrew. I'm the end result of millenia of conflicts, immigration, invasions and conquests. You'll not find many people with this dazzling array of DNA. :-)

The mace or axe vs helmet test was pure bullshit, and not only because the guy used the mace with one hand and the axe with both. The axe is a finer weapon for other reasons, but upon hitting plate armor, like of an helmet, a mace is much more damaging and also less likely to "slip" (not hit for real). The reason the axe is agood choice is mainly because it takes far more strenght and skill to fight with a mace, making the axe a better standard for an army, loosing only to swords in that matter.
