This play is really not designed for getting massive yardage but knowing you can get 8 or more yards when you need it is awesome. There are ways to defend it but they generally leave the defense unsound in some area. This play has been very effective for many years and we have run it out of almost every formation known to man and a few that we just dreamed up in moments of weakness. lol
One of my favorite plays that we ran. It is even harder to stop when ran during an 8-man game.
