@TOHOSHINee In FF 5, the game Bartz is in, when you mastered a Job you gain three stars over his head. So when he goes into his Ex mode that happens as a reference to that. Tidus's sword changing isn't his alternative. That's just his Ex mode, where he equips his strongest weapon

Alright, since Dissidia 012 is coming out soon, I've been pretty much creeping the series. Lmao, but I'm kind of mad they didn't take a whole lot of the Characters. Cuz most of these are like from the early games where they didnt exactly have main Characters, just classes. But it still is an amazing game. I mean Onion Knight is awesome. Im going to buy this and beat it before the 2nd one comes out. It's my mission. O_o

@jawsTeh That is a darn shame there...I loved the battle system what with the grid and all, once you mastered how it worked it was really nice. The characters were cool too, Tidus could be a little annoying, but it was a breath of fresh air from the more emotionally challenged characters.

@greatsage4ever The Sphere Grid wasnt annoying at all and it allowed anyone to learn almost any skill in the game, so Tidus could learn Steal, and Yuna Could Learn Power Break. The Battle system was pretty good too. SpoonyOne is doing a review of the game and he actually says the battle system is awesome. But he still hates the game for its plot. Its a video game, not a movie, Plot isnt as important. I even liked Blitzball in 10. It wasnt nearly as bad as he made it sound.

@jawsTeh I thought the plot was fine, it flowed along pretty well and it didn't seem so farfetched (as farfetched as some Final Fantasy plots go, for example FF8 and time compression). As for the sphere grid, I taught Tidus how to steal as well, Rikku how to use Bio, and Yuna got physically stronger so that after armor break was used on a fiend she did 9999 damage just by hitting something with her staff. It was kind of funny.

You must have spent alot of time getting yuna to be formiddible in battle like that, you probably even got all the summons and Ultimate weapons. @jawsTeh The strategy I used was to have the characters fight through the Omega Dungeon repeatedly until they could defeat the monsters with ease. After that defeating Sin, Seymour's last form, and the giant tick god (Yu Yevon) was essentially cakewalk, and Yuna could clobber opponents with her staff.
