  • R.I.P. Rasta Man!!!!

  • Some people think you are form Jamaica, this mon is a South Afrikan. God bless the mon.

  • Like this song says, Why do bad things happen to good people? Love you Lucky & will forever!

  • Rasta man never dies.

  • rip you freedom fighter!

  • where can I download this song?

  • Guys, I love Lucky dube to death. I even think he is the best musician Africa has ever produced. But to brand him as the King of Reggae over Bob Marley is a little out of line. Yes Lucky made a great or even a greater contribution to the fame of Raggae and yes he helped to take the Genre to greater heights. But lets face it, Bob is like the founder and yes the first Raggae artist to reach people World wide. R I P to both of them.

  • @kingdiallo6 the black beefs must stop. we all african

  • @kingdiallo6

Different strokes for different folks...Both were unique in their own way/style, but Lucky is my favorite & always will be! He was a beautiful human being & great Reggae artist!

  • Gone too soon Dube. You will always be in my heart. Just like Christ was betrayed by his own people, was crucified for spreading the Good News so, your life was taken for tellin the truth. But I know that you're resting in a better place smiling down on us as we keep your legacy alive. You told us that " REGGAE is strong and nobody can stop it" ! R.I.P. LUCKY,BOB AND ALL THE GREATS "ONE LOVE JAH"

  • lucky dube is the best

  • DUBE REMEMBERED FOR EVER

  • Respect B. Marley. But honor and greater appreciations to L. Dube! Both men did what they were made for, and lets realize Marley started from nothing, but Dube made every inch of ragae greater than it ever was. Hes covered miles as many as every problems we face in this world. Dube also gave a piece of inspiration, courage, and comfort to every societal class with his peaceful voice. He is 3x greater than Bob, Alpha Blondy, Tiken Jah, and all the respectful regae artists thereis on Earth! RIP L!

  • you're a damn liar. im sick of africans being in denial. dont dare say that because they were born in africa and we were born in the islands that we dont get no damn credit for music WE created. i see why ppl view yall the way they do. lucky said it himself that ppl WORLD WIDE would gather to see two unknown JAMAICAN reggae performers quicker than they would if he and alpha blondie was to hold a concert why? because the WORLD know reggae is JAMAICAN music. apparently africans dont.

  • Xaymaicans. You're just a wanker. Get a life.

  • i like lucky dube verry mutch he is mutch better then bob marley

  • sou amante do reggae ainda bem que ainad tem gente com bom gosto neste mundo.

  • I love both Bob Marley and Lucky Dube music. as far as i am concern these two men stand side by side when coming to reggae music.

  • I was never a fan of mr.dube but his music is nice. i REALLY did n0t and will never appreciate himself, his fans and ppl like fiendman81 who dub him the "king of reggae" as a jamaican i find that disrespectful to blatantly disregard the creators and children of reggae: jamaicans. but anyway im n0t going to get started im just gona pay my respects and play some studio one. r.i.p lucky dube i knw he in a better place still. n0 hatred.

  • what because Bob Marley started reggae that makes him the king, please. Bob can never touch as much heart as Lucky Dube did, internationally Lucky Dube is king, jamaicanwise, bob is king, is that ok by you Xaymaicana

  • hmm wateva....bob marleys trashy music ....

  • Ezzzzzz up lil youth, when elder chat u must not cht bk.BOB,PETER,GARNET SILK,ALL THEM SPEAK GREAT THING ABOUT AFRICAN AND AFRICAN MUSIC.

  • inmytime007 pls. this isnt about me acknolwedging african roots. i am proud of my african roots but im not going to allow NOBODY to spread bulljive when my country is involved. dont take some elses culture and try to pass it off like its your own and then have the nerve to say "well yall came from us".

  • ok sweetness i love how you'r defending you island great job,now little qout from mr Peter Tosh, no matter where you come from as long as you are a black man you are an AFRICAN.With that we aint gonna fight about who's reggea music is KING,NO, it not the proper place. love and respect to you my love.

I'll be in your island with my oh so SWEET girlfriend on 20th,dec. Brazilian taking over jamiaca

  • Hey, woman listen, Lucy Dube and his people have a rich culture of their own, so there is no reason for them to emulate somebody elses culture. The fact that he having a great voice and singing this song using reggae tune made you upset and forced you to make nonsense comment, nothing more. Get over it woman!

I have a great respect for Mr. Marley for discovering this great genre and allowing other to follow his path; I have always said rest in peace my man.

  • Channel O music, damn i miss Africa!

Lucky Dube died in almost similar circumstances as Peter Tosh,at the point of their careers being revived.

Apart from Alpha Blondy,Dube is the second best reggae artist from Africa!

His soul may be taken, but Jah safeguards it now!

    RIP Brother Dube!

  • I think you should put that the other way around.Lucky Dube is the African King of Reggae and also the present king of reggae even though he is dead.

  • Add to that that he wasn't hard on the eyes AND had a fantastic band...Boooooom...you've got the BEST.

So sad; but we're so fortunate to have the music. What a voice.

  • So long brotha. J.I.P. (Jam In Peace)
