Hip-hop was the worst thing to happen to The Funktion Freeks. That was the band made up of myself, Ed, Shaun on lead vocals, Mark on drums, Terrence 'T-Bird' Blocker on guitar, William Bush on keyboards and Gerald Benton, son of Brook Benton, on sax. We were a hard core funk band ala Parliament, Rick James, Gap Band during the 80's.

@native92001 Unfortunately my brother, all the Funktion Freeks stuff is lost to time. That band lasted from 1982 - 88 or '89. We were originally called Oasis II and the band was together a few years already before I joined in '82. If you go to my channel you will see what I'm doing these days. Was Ed Lover on every song on "Wake Your Daughter Up"? It sounds like him throughout.
