The spot where the 3 people hit's the ground face down, I know the film it came from. It's not Goonies 2 at all. Goonies 2 can't be made "unless all" the original serving cast agrees to do a Goonies 2. It was in there contract when they did Goonies back in the 1980's if they was to ever do another Goonies film, they needed all the cast that are living today to "all" agree on it before they could even make another. So far nothing has been agreed on. Clip is nicely edited together though.

I found a way to tell it's fake. For Mikey and Data grown up, they took clips from Encino Man, which Sean Astin and Ke Huy Quan both starred in. They were only 19 then, because that was in 1992.

They're keeping the sequel under wraps, my neighbor who does visual effects for a company in LA says he did some CGFX for Goonies 2 along with fifty other special effects people.

For all intents and purposes, the movie is in the can.

The completed movie has been shelved however by Warner Bros until unknown litigation issues get resolved.

Clearly it's not an issue of hoping for another movie, my neighbor has the check stubs from "Goondocks Productions LTD" showing his pay for working on the film.

For those of you wishing for a sequel... please don't!  I'd like to remember The Goonies for what they were before some shit director destroys its legacy by attaching their name to some piece of garbage souly built on special effects.

Once a movie has a legacy, it should be criminal for a director or producer to ride the wave someone else created in order to make a buck off the loyal fans. Every goonies fan would watch a goonies 2. And they'd all feel raped afterwards.
