not really; He's more popular than you think. I'd say he's overrated. He's not as good an actor, he hasn't got as much personality, and he's terrible on panel shows.
I'm trying to find to find a particular Mitchell and Webb sketch but have no idea what it would be filed under. its like a kind of spoof documentary where Rob is being followed by cameras in his house and David does the voiceover. At the end of the show david says something like 'but i thought you liked spaghetti'. i know its a long shot but does anyone have any idea what im talking about???
Haha, that was brilliant. Personally though I think it would have been funnier if Webb hadn't said anything after his little performance, just kinda....let it hang...
yeah I kinda agree, but I suppose this particular character he is portraying is so ignorant of how crazy his actions are he doesn't notice the embarrassing silences.
@RIPdementia Haha I hear you but I disagree, I thought that was spot-on with the character, and I like it. Especially the facial expression, like he's so impatient to know if he "got it." haha
Another comment which really says nothing about the clip and everything about my inability to critically analyze anything or understand basic principles of comedy. WAIT I MEANT LOL.
Touche! Who said the art of riposte is dead? Ask Lonelywreckage - he thinks it's funny. I didn't mention McCann - you did. Get out more? You're the one who actually reads what people write under TouTube clips to bait tragic Mitchell and Webb fans for a giggle. Your punctuation is appalling as well - I take it you didn't go to university like your heroes (and influencers of future actors and comedians). Lighten up.
Probably the second biggest laugh in liverpool after the bit right at the start where they explain that woman died. Only because there was a technical problem and the start was delayed by an hour and they came out to explain the "f**k up" and then said "that was a real f**k up but now the show starts with a pretend f**k up this one is real the next one is pretend" then they left out of character and came back out in character looking all serious and dramatic and everyone was in hysterics!
Webb can moonwalk like an absolute king!

I like Robert Webb better than David Mitchell. Don't you?
LizaLips1 7 months ago
I like how he's wearing a stereotypical French black/white stripe mime artist shirt.

i did a class like this today and was very tempted to act like robert

did not recognise David with the whole french mime look he's got going on- WOW...

Is it technically mime if a mime is commenting his moves? Just asking.
hyperseauton 1 year ago
@hyperseauton It's mime for the sight impaired.

Webb: the under-appreciated and under-rated half of Mitchell and Webb.

That's from the mitchell and webb situation, I think it's episode 2 or 3. It's also ravioli, not spaghetti. :3

Cheers mate, I'm amazed anyone else knows what i'm talking about. Still can't find it on Youtube but ne'er mind.

LOVED it! Great moonwalk!
And holy crap, David Mitchell has lost a ton of weight! Is that how he looks like now?
RivaJane 2 years ago
hes lost even more than that recently! If you watch his new David Mitchell's soapbox things he looks really slim :)

I'm so glad they got rid of the canned laughter. It's amazing how much better something looks without it.

I love this show, but the other acting class sketch is better.
He goes on about opression, slavery and black consiousness. the other two start this poem and robert sings
"Oh baby tinkin' about your chocolate a boom ba a booay!" In a really bad jamaican accent. :P

No because I am not yet old enough to go to university!
But I am infact following in my heroes footsteps because I am planning on going to footlights in cambridge!
And don't worry about my punctuation I think you should be more worried about the fact that you find child abduction funny. You are pathetic
