I'm not one of those people that hates on swtor frequently for no reason, but this is seriously the most complex raid boss that the game has to offer? There's not nearly enough fire on the ground. Needs more mechanics.

@naihanLikesPie L2read. Normal mode. I.E, intended for Pugs. This is not a pug. Also, your example sucks. "Fire on the ground" is a bad mechanic that is easily ignored.

We tried downing Soa last night, best attempt he enraged and wiped us with 17k hp left, horrible. The fight seemed really buggy still. There were times when we would wipe and not all of the platform would respawn at the top with him, which made switching phases near impossible. The mind traps are extremely buggy as well, 3 times he pulled our tank in during the 3rd phase and when he would get released from the trap Sao would reset and the tank would respawn on the top platform

The way your ops team moved during the platform drops, it seemed that you knew the pattern. Is it a safe guess, then, that there is no randomness to the drops?

@henhz Yea, I am tanking on an assassin. You could always pvp for level 20 armor. You will outgrow it quite fast though. You can always upgrade armor with mods to keep them useful for more levels.

@Dingotitan We actually had a dps merc on this. When needed, he would heal himself a little if he was out of range of the healers.

@mQtek I honestly would just pvp a lot and do hardmodes flashpoints when you can. Black Talon hard mode is an easier one to do. Furthermore, make sure you get as many upgrades as possible from Corelia commendations before you start hard modes.
