The video from 4:43 - 4:53 is what guitar players these days dream of being. That has got to be the best video of what a guitar God is meant to be like! Rock on Jimmy!
You Know let me tell you something when You Shoot up 45cc of black mexican Tar Herion in Each Arm, YES you do have a Drug Problem. and that's what Mr. Page had A very very serious problem. Im Fucking surprise he still Around.
dude page is and was rich back then, i wont argue tht he had a drug problem cuz to me if u even try smack u have a drug problem, but, the man was not taking black tar, thts poor mans heroine. he was gettin good shit im sure.
I can see why Jimmy Page never let this concert be officially released. Bonham sounds awesome, but Page sounds downright amateurish at times, especially at 4:20.
Unfortunately not. And I'm not about to debate the difference of couch listening to actually being there. Being there is a completely different experience. I gladly would have taken Zeppelin at any time of their short career. I simply stated that Page's playing was no where as fluent by this point in the band. He still had some nights where he was incredible from both the 77 and 80 tours, but his once consistent creativity was deeply dominished.
Agreed. This was concert was somewhat unusual as they played some legendary shows in Seattle. '72, '73 '75. The just seemed to hit their stride there and never had any trainwrecks overall.
bonham an ringo are to diffrent monsters you could ask any amazing drummer like billy cobham for example he even said it him self that ringo was the balls this is what i don't get just because ringo does not do solos everybody thinks he sucks ringo has a diffrent style of play he's gifted with
timeing don't get me wrong i'm a bonham fan
myself an fucking bonzo is amazing but why compair to diffrent styles.
It now appears that the long rumored, long awaited and much wished for Led Zeppelin reunion is now back on again. Jimmy Page has confirmed that indeed Led Zeppelin will be going out on the road this summer, commencing a world tour. However, the band's choice of drummers to replace the late John Bonham is and I hope you're sitting down when reading this...Ringo Starr!
Ringo Starr is a fucking joke there's no chance in hell that he can even touch the tip of Bonzo's power the only reason Ringo's considered great was because he was with the Beatles if he never joined them then he would be any regular wanker
of all this new material on youtube from shadowman and others, it is now more clear than ever that on their "worst" night they were still better than everyone else...but dont get me wrong, im not saying this is bad, but there is some raw stuff of theirs here on the tube
John Bonham was Led Zeppelin!

I'd have to say between 5:00-5:25 is very weak for Page. It's just a shame. A younger, healthier Page never would sounded like this.

Have you seen them LIVE???
Ever?

I have this concert, it's a bit weak, but it's also very long.
And Page, with his white suit, he rocks!
thank you again, shadowman!!

I like that little "funky" lick Jimmy plays at the begining when he's warming up. It's a riff from a song I think but I can't think of which one.
acidtones1 3 years ago
Wait. My ears have decieved me! Maybe it's John Paul's bass that plays it? I'm not tone deaf but in this instance I can't tell.
acidtones1 3 years ago
It's both JP and JPJ.

LMAO How the hell is Super Smash Bros. related to Led Zep?
scarfacedan09 3 years ago
Is that Bonzo you can hear at the beginning saying "stop touching the drums!" twice?
