  • 7:23 Really? THAT T.V?

  • The example of rolling shutter....nobody would pan the camera back and forth like that for film making even with a video camera.

  • Cough Et-zio, not ezzio

  • Were these both with stock lenses? If not, what lenses were used?

  • What about the T3i?

  • @RomanRuinFilms I think that is what he meant when accidently calling it the 60D. (actually 600D)

  • 8:29 - Shake yo booty playa.

  • every day it gets worst.. more commercials and lets content. thanks guys

  • FUCK disposable income

  • i know you guys have money

but is the tv speaker sitting on an iPad

  • Posted my nikon gear for sale after i watched this. I want a t3i... now.

  • @carfree123 Don't get the t3i. Get the t2i. Much better camera

  • The T2i with the right lighting and the right equipment can achieve that professional look. On my channel is a pilot for a webseries I shot soley on the T2i or EOS 550D.. took 11 hours to shoot it all with just construction lights and a dolly and shoulder rig I built myself. Hope you enjoy people who watch!

  • as for saying you get better film look with the 5d, from what you have done with the footage ive seen far better done on youtube by begginers that really show how good the t2i is lol

  • the 5d is not worth all the extra money than the t2i

for the extra money you pay you dont get enough for it really

  • What lens are you using for the t2i?

  • hahaha funny intro

  • "ASSASSINATED!!!!"

  • whats the song at 8:30???

  • 07:53 TO SKIP AD

  • Does the t2i have built in audio recording someone answer please:)

  • @thewindsurfguy thanks

  • @NewtonsProduction Yes. All HDSLR's have a built in mic

  • OMFG! Stark can actually talk!?

  • 12:04 he has a voice crack.. lol

  • africans get enough help theres other countries who also need help

  • two things: Magic lantern & Cinestyle

  • I know the 5D is better, but the t2i is great for those of us who have no money.

  • @KauffmanJohn here is a pilot for a webseries shot soley on the T2i!! Wacky, weird and all shot in Vancouver!!: watch?v=BkInN3IPESA&context=C3d485ccADOEgsToPDskIr-BxNvERxBKwUlHORhiFz

  • @KauffmanJohn If you have no money you have no camera, at all. :P

  • @KauffmanJohn exactly.

  • why is this even a debate? 5D will always own. The apsc sensor on every other canon is horrible and the crop factor makes using higher end lenses on a t2i a waste of time.

  • Great stuff!

  • I guarantee most amateur photographers would have a hard time telling the difference if they weren't "looking" for differences in quality. Also, 99% of normal people couldn't tell the difference without a side-by-side comparison.... and even then, probably not.

  • im so glad this was my first filmriot video i ever watched when i first started watching these guys. not gonna lie, i was weirded out by the opening scene but now that I've grown to love watching these guys its just part of there usual shinagins i love :)

  • Watching video about two interesting camera, the 5D Mk II the one I use, and all of the sudden the subject is some video game. Seriously??? Not everyone is into those silly videogames, and even if you are, what a total non sequitur to go from a camera test to video games.

  • @marike1100 This is a show. It costs money. THAT WAS A SPONSOR.

  • honestly I cant notice any differences

  • ASSASSINATEDDDDDDDDDDD

  • dude u guys so cute

  • Can someone PLZ answer this: I'm looking to start making short music videos of my artists (I'm a music producer). Most of these videos will be still shots, from different angles, nothing too crazy and not a ton of movement. For the price of the T2i, are there any HD camcorders that hold up in terms of that "cinematic" look? From my research, only the DSLR's at this price can provide that. Thanks

  • @officialODi No camcorder will give you a shallow depth of field, if that's what you are reffering to as "cinematic" look.

  • @maxdlv Thanks, the depth of field is pretty much what I'm after

  • I want a canon EOS really badly. Is it worth saving up more money to afford the 5D? Or would I be find with the T3i?

  • the T3i (canon 600D) is the answer! Great for videos and also has a tilt and swivel screen for better creative shots! :D i have one and i'm in love with it !

  • Didnt know Aris was a Yankee fan...

  • But you probably shouldn't yell out "ASSASSINATED!" before you kill someone.

  • I have access at any time to a Panasonic P2 HD. Help me with it :(

  • Hi, this is may sound a stupid question, but I'm new to this canon t2i.. I'm having a problem with the video quality when I uploaded it on my pc... Do I need a certain memory card reader to get the same video quality I see on my camera? When I play it on my PC the video is not fluid and its skipping. I'm using a extreme memory card with 30mbs. I hope you could help me with this. Thanks.

  • @cahuchyo It might be your pc. Is it a nice new model, or old?

  • @cahuchyo 2 things, make sure the SD card is a class 10. It could also be the PC depending on how old it is.

  • @cahuchyo you need a better pc.. perhaps the video card on your computer can't handle playing hd vids

  • Did they say what lens they used?

  • @kdwantsasnack Black Swan had scenes shot on the 7D, House had scenes shot on the 5D, and all of the second unit DP work on Red Tails was done with a DSLR. The "DSLR look" that clients are complaining about is because of a lack of technical experience by the user, not the tools themselves. Look up Zacuto's 'The Great Camera Shootout' if you want to see just how powerful these cameras are against film when used by professionals.

  • you also forgot to add that the 5d doesn't have 60fps. that alone is the reason to get the t2i

  • Where do you get your music from?

  • any dslr will look good with a lens as fast as 1.4

  • I like how he says "Ezio" at 4:42 haha

  • people who shoot movies with still cameras look like idiots

  • why is the man crying?

  • I have the t3i. I would truly appreciate it if you all could Check out some of my short films on my page. I could really use the feedback. Thanks so much!!

  • T3i is the shyt

  • did you guys use the same lens on both cameras?

  • @volaciouswyvern Yes they did, they said they did in the video

  • Please anyone give me the song name at 4:26 I beg you

  • @filmriot R u guys using a greenscreen or just lighting a wall here ???

  • @LikeABoggs lighting a wall

  • If both have cinestyle installed it would it make a big difference?

  • can you guys do the same with the t3i?

  • @1akozak t2i and t3i have the exact same sensors and exact same image quality, only difference is the swivel lcd

  • You guys get the most random sponsors.

  • For the film maker on a budget, the t2i is awesome and the 5d mkii is not worth 1800 dollars more! but for those who can afford it it is a must have, a fantastic camera!

  • Who else couldn't stop laughing at the Assassin's Creed ad?! XD

  • haha ear tear at sponsor time

  • Hey, thanks for this video. I know it's a bit older. But I'm looking for a DSLR camera and I have been eyeballing the T2i, as it definitely fits my price range. This video pretty much has me sold on the T2i. I'm going to check out more of your videos now though.

  • One guy looks like a mix of Tom Hardy and Jason Segel.

  • So which do you think would be the best choice for a video work. I do not understand since the sensor is the same why do people choose 5d mark 2 over a 7d 60d or t2i which is way cheaper where the video out put is barley noticeable.

    Thanks alot for the reply

  • @jay13200 the 5d mII is full frame meaning you get better lowlight. Better DoF and you focal lengths are true...Eg - 18mm actually equals 18mm....In the 7d etc (APS-C) the sensor is a 1.6x crop meaning your 18mm actually becomes 27-28mm...

  • @boohooimsad u think u are very intelligent and we are idiot :::

  • @rkrockstarmusic What? I was helping someone who wanted help. Who wanted to gain knowledge. I didn't imply that he wasn't intelligent, and I know that I'm not the most intelligent because I........Learn't off someone else's advice and teachings....

  • @rkrockstarmusic wtf man?

  • @Macgilleanders i don't knw

  • What about the rebel t3i?

  • @6thsencefilms it should be equal quality to the t2i (because it shares the same aps-c sensor)

  • 08:28 - Shake Yo Booty Playa

  • dont forget the 5d doesnt shot 60p the t2i does,beast camera

  • if i were the judge this ... ill pick T2i it really impressive dam........ than the 5d if you compare those two..... it obvious that he T2i is really awesome........ P.S. that guy is gonna get deccapated at the next starring contest..... fucked up hardcore................

  • this thing even sucks ... but i like the part that guy get beat up by the starring contest...... HARDCORE MAN!!!!!

  • I see you Mention about 60D and 550D but you dont talk about 7D on video Film Making could you please Provide some of your opinions on Canon 7D video making over the 60D and the T2i thanks

  • @jay13200 he (and many other people) have said that because the 7D, 60D, and t2i all share the same sensor their video is about the same, with their differences being barely noticeable before color correction and completely non-existent after color correction.

  • can you review the nex-7 when it comes out? people are saying that its video is better than the 5d mark 2 :/

  • does the t2i have audio jacks?

  • @SomaniVids yes it does.

  • @SomaniVids yup!

  • It's like a graphic comparison video of a ps3 and an xbox 360. @-)

  • @WammiJammi yup!! 5d=ps3, t2i=xbox 360

  • in the shot with them sitting down I actually thought the t2i looked slightly better. its such a great camera :)

  • Most rumor has it that the new 5d mrk iii (may or may not be the new name) may increase in MSRP by a $1500 - $2000 from it's current price

  • T2i is the best its my baby and its amazing!

  • @flumfe I know what you mean! I just bought mine a macro lens and now we're cuddling by the fire!

  • Shaken It Coz You Braken It

  • 5D mark II no 1

  • You still have a tube TV? It's 2011.

  • Does anyone know the sad music at 12:59??

  • esse canal é maravilhoso, simplesmente!

  • 00:42 what cam did you use there!!!

  • I was going to get the 5d mark ii but i got the 60d instead because it has more features.

  • The real question is, would you loose a gig to someone with a 5d if you have a T2i? Am I more likely to find work with a 5d?

  • 7:52 to skip ad.

Also I got the T2i for my birthday last night. It's awesome.

  • I'm a proud user of 5D Mark II <3

  • @chr1sgoesfamous No, it's prouud, apparently according to DollSarah.

  • Comment removed

  • Canon EOS 5D Mark II is soooo expensive=/

  • I'm currently considering to buy either the T2i, the T3i or the Panasonic HDC-SD900, but I can't deside on which one to get. One + for the Canons, my dad has 3 of the prosumer Zoom lenses which I can use, so I'll only have to buy the body. What do you think?

  • @myronwouts Get the T3i. You will be very happy with it.

  • Heres how I would put it

5D - cinematic look, low light quality, respect from anyone who knows their shit

t2i - good camera, cheap as hell. same features, need color correction.

  • @709Industries respect from anyone who knows their shit lol! xD

  • @OfficialPolkaDot haha, well if you can afford a camera worth more than my car, I suppose i respect you.

  • SHAKIN IT CAUSE YOU BAKE'N IT

  • When does the Canon 5d mk 3 come out?

  • only the best assassins shout assassinated before killing someone hahaha

  • My 50 $ Sony vs the "cheap" t2i.......

  • This helped my decision to get a Canon T2i. Cheap, but amazing

  • SHAKIN IT CAUSE YOU BAKIN IT

  • They say cameras add 10 pounds, but at 3:06 I'm pretty sure the 5d mkll added about 30 pounds to Josh haha

  • ASSASSINATED!!

  • :) 8:29

  • :) 6:29

  • Shrimp.

  • Its not read Ezio directly its more like "Etzio" or "Edzio" when you read it!!!!!

  • We are happy with the T2i :)

There's a short we filmed with It, It's in my channel

  • I can't take that color correction seriously. The generic blue/orange palette is really starting to wear thin on me. I really wish you used a more realistic or interesting palette for comparison.

  • magic lantern firmware?

  • why 720p?

  • Assassinated!!!

  • I'm a prouud user of T2i <3

  • @DollSarah Yeeha! iam getting one tommorrow?

is it a bit late? HAHAA.. who cares...

  • 05:11

    What the hell?

Did you seriously just grow a half-beard and full mustache in just 14 seconds?

  • ASSASSINATION!!!

  • I Love Stark!!!

  • ASSASSINATED!

  • which is better?60d or T2i?

  • @multimediaarts They're about the same, 60d just has a swivel screen. He says it in this lol

  • @multimediaarts gwt the T3i, it has a swivel screen and its lot cheaper than the 60d. its the 2011 model of t2i

  • how do you get T2i footage onto final cut? i have it and i CANT FIGURE IT OUT!!

  • @LaCostaFilms You need to convert it, in an older ep Ryan said he used MPEG Streamclip to do it. It's free

  • Hey Ryan, I'm planning on buying a T2i to shoot a short film. The short film is a thriller/horror and will have quite a few low light shots. So my question is, should I buy the T2i with the kit lens, or should I just buy the body and then the 50mm f/1.8 II lens? I can't afford to buy the kit and then the 50mm, so which option should I go with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • @no1uno5 Personally, I would buy the 50mm f/1.8! It is truly an amazing lens. I had a 7D, and this was my stock lens every time I went to go shoot. Bad auto focusing in low light, so just use manual.

  • @BrandonRoseFilms Thanks for the feedback. I've been waiting for someone to help me out with this and now I'm going to get the f/1.8 so thanks :)

  • I would consider buying a Canon T3i - it has a flip out LCD screen and a 10x digital zoom that does not compromise resolution. I would go for the 50mm f/1.8. I've found it does better in low light and can pull much shallower depth of field than the Kit lens which can only open to an f/3.5. Also, it is about the same in terms of wide angle capability as the kit lens expands to 58mm. With the digital zoom that maintains 1080 or 720 resolution, you can move in closer if you want.

  • SHAKE YO BOOTY PLAYA

  • @YFilmsOfficial Shakin It Cause You Bakin It.
