This is the era when they stopped JUST having FUN and started performing in order to get into show business...no more young kids showing their stuff...and having a great time...we started seeing some of the same faces not just young people from around the block like in the 70's. It started feeling staged and Hollywood. I hated that...but stayed loyal :)
