Mac OS X is far superior to Windows...mainly because of it's UNIX base. UNIX is a rock-solid operating system that has been used for years. I used Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, but Mac OS X beats them all. (Linux is still my favorite! lol)
I will probably fully support Apple once they make the computers much better for customization, increase hardware choices, ditch the air [or make it not suck], and slightly reduce prices. Also, to make a decent cheaper laptop for those who aren't loaded. If apple had their laptops cheaper, so many more people would buy them. ah..TheWoodFamily channel apparently doesn't have a damn clue how to use windows if he/she thinks windows is for solitaire. um. dvd fab to backup all your home dvd's and blurays( btw that program DOES NOT WORK on mac and through WINE on Ubuntu 10.04 works but with some random glitches that i haven't figured out yet), 100% of all computer games are made to run on windows, browser variety=WINDOWS has the best, and macs are better at RIPPING off their user by 15%. Geeze, guys. Does it really matter which operating system is better? I've been a PC user my whole life and have been using Vista for about a year. I have had no problems, and it has been smooth sailing for me. It really all depends on the qualtiy of your hardware: good hardware means fast performance, and vise versa. Recently, I downloaded Windows 7 and I am quite impressed with it. It has the speed of XP and the sexiness of Windows Vista. Mac OS's look quite imprssive too, so stop fiting alrdy!

What way can someone of average tech knowledge do it? If you own a recent mac and have a version of windows xp that you want to run on it, its all right there all built in. If you wanted to do that on windows pc, how would it be done?
jtchiva is right, using a pre-hacked version of Leopard (OS X 10.5) is veryeasy to get running on PC hardware IF the specification is right. Many pre-hacked versions of Leopard exist - iDeneb, Leo4All, iATIKOS, Kaylway etc etc, there's loads. I use iDeneb v1.3, once burned to a DVD you boot the PC from that disc, and it's fairly straight forward from there, you just need to format your HDD to Mac OS X Extended (HFS+) when you choose the destination HDD. Or else you won't be able to proceed.

Windows is basically the general computer, so GENERALLY (not specifically) it is BETTER. Because you can do so much more. That's why you have so much fucking VIRUSES. Thats because you can do ANYTHING! You can access the very core of the computer...something mac does not have. So even windows might be the best office computer. And windows UI is capable of WAY much more than Mac's interface. And almost all the good games are on pcs, except for some like warcraft (that's because it's a good game.

Okay. You set a keyframe when the video is a certain size and set another one when it is a different size. Then add cross dissolve on the end.

Geeze, guys. Does it really matter which operating system is better? I've been a PC user my whole life and have been using Vista for about a year. I have had no problems, and it has been smooth sailing for me. It really all depends on the qualtiy of your hardware: good hardware means fast performance, and vise versa. Recently, I downloaded Windows 7 and I am quite impressed with it. It has the speed of XP and the sexiness of Windows Vista. Mac OS's look quite imprssive too, so stop fiting alrdy!

i never got frustrated with my mac for almost 1 year now. If you only knew the hell that acer/vista was giving me. ( i actually threw the acer from the 5th floor...seriously). I just dont understand how people can say that PC is better than mac!

What way can someone of average tech knowledge do it? If you own a recent mac and have a version of windows xp that you want to run on it, its all right there all built in. If you wanted to do that on windows pc, how would it be done?

actually its pretty easy to install mac on a pc, you will only need an intel pc, and a compatible video card
search for something called iatkos, or leo4all

jtchiva is right, using a pre-hacked version of Leopard (OS X 10.5) is veryeasy to get running on PC hardware IF the specification is right. Many pre-hacked versions of Leopard exist - iDeneb, Leo4All, iATIKOS, Kaylway etc etc, there's loads. I use iDeneb v1.3, once burned to a DVD you boot the PC from that disc, and it's fairly straight forward from there, you just need to format your HDD to Mac OS X Extended (HFS+) when you choose the destination HDD. Or else you won't be able to proceed.

Windows is basically the general computer, so GENERALLY (not specifically) it is BETTER. Because you can do so much more. That's why you have so much fucking VIRUSES. Thats because you can do ANYTHING! You can access the very core of the computer...something mac does not have. So even windows might be the best office computer. And windows UI is capable of WAY much more than Mac's interface. And almost all the good games are on pcs, except for some like warcraft (that's because it's a good game.
