  • I wonder why the police can film you (dash cam) etc. But in some states it's illegal to film them?

  • some dude followed me around all day filmin me i would assume he was stalking me and was in love with me too.

  • ALL COPS KNOW WHAT TO DO IS TO ASSUME AND ATTEMIDATE THE PERSON CAUSE THE COP IS PISSED AND JUST ICHING FOR YOU TO DO ANYTHING SO HE CAN ARREST YOU FOR THE SITUATION HE IS PISSED ABOUT

  • Good job, we should join up since were both locals.....

  • why the hell are the cops there can't you have anything on in America without the cops being present or are they just trying to get you accustomed to it.Officer you are on utube smile!!!!

  • @2wheels88 - The reason is because much of America is a shit hole with a bunch of Mestizo gangsters and third-worlders. That's why you have to have cops all over the place at these crummy gatherings. Just look at the low-riders and Mexican flags....

  • Watch Police State 2000,Police State 2, 3 and 4,these cover the last ten yrs of police training and millitarisation and a host of other relevent things

  • Thank God for the first amendment! How the hell would you know that some of these vids actually contains footage of cops violating the law themselves!

  • huh they all kinda look uncomfortable in there gear in the sun and under the scrutiny of a camera for obvious reasons,

  • Good for you! I wish more people would do what you guys do. Every time every cop steps out of the station, he should be surrounded by multiple live cameras. That would make them think twice about abusing innocent people, which is something that they do every day.

  • You're a dickwad.

  • What's the point in filming uniformed officers during public events? Is there some sort of purpose? Otherwise, you're just being an instigator.

  • The cop find it funny lol!

  • Can you hold the camera right dang you suck

  • ok captain dick... now why don't you film some dope pushers, some bangers, some licence plates, and thugs, and give that to the police.... that's what a camera for...

  • @rosal2006 Because thats dangerous. They know they can antagonize Cops and get wawy with it. Rebel without a clue.

  • Don't blame the cops, blame the brainless masses of american sheeple who gave them godly powers over us.

  • What is the point of this video. The cops were more than understanding. Like someone else said, get a job. Jesus! You were stalking the cop. You were following him around with your camera. I would be pissed off too if some guy was following me around with a camera.

  • TURN GATES' COFFIN OVER!

  • I love when the cop says stalking is a felony because they use their private gangs to stalk and harrass people around. Look up "gang stalking", "targeted individuals", "Cointelpro", "Monarch II (pt twelve)", "Monarch: The New Pheonix Program", etc. on YouTube.

  • @1975Aspen I feel bad for people who think that they are TI's. it isn't gonna end well either way for them. either they are being gang stalked and they will be killed or they are just straight up crazy. it's a lose lose situation for them

  • the officer said he was there to keep the peace then why did he approach and threaten people at the party trying to enjoy themselves. No crime in videoing the police, it is not stalking, and the police know this, but they keep on him this is stalking on the police, let me ask you this, when you see police lights in your rear view mirror do you feel safe and secure or nervous and uncomfortable. Serve and Protect my ASS. Observe, Interfere, and arrest that is what they are there for.

  • Most of these Copwatch kids are selling drugs and into all kinds of illegal activities. They harrass police because they cut in on their action and they hope to catch one with a hot head to try to promote themselves as righteous do-gooders. They are so transparent.

  • Nice red 1965 Impala.

  • My god, learn how to hold the frickin camera steady!

  • It is true that this guy did not complete the crime of stalking...yet. The officer doesn't know if filmmaker has the intention of carrying out the rest of the crime. It is that unknown that the officer is trying to prevent. So he made contact with the guy. Any person in his position would do the same.

  • And any one who owns a gun might shoot you. And anyone who has a car might run someone over. And anyone with a computer might use it for child porn.

Fuck you and fuck the cops. You have no "right to privacy" when you are outside, and filming is not stalking.

  • @MrJowee yes it is bozo

  • @316lawdog I would reply with a well thought out point, giving proof and examples as to why you are wrong, but you're a fucking idiot, and there is no convincing you. So go fuck yourself.

  • @MrJowee its not copwatching its stalking and it is a crime bozo

  • @MrJowee tell me how copwatching is not stalking dumbass

  • @316lawdog So why didn't the High School Diploma Squad and his fellow donut stuffers arrest him?

  • @Bluto2973 Because they know that he has every right to film at a public event. It is perfectly legal to do so.

  • @1GodOnlyOne Preaching to the choir. Lawdog doesn't think the police should be held accountable. My response to him was tongue-in-cheek.

  • @Bluto2973 Yes, I know.

  • @MrJowee You got that right! 316dikdog IS an idiot! He lies and says he's a cop but his lies have been exposed by real cops. He knows NOTHING about laws or how they work. He's just some ignorant pathetic wannabe. "badge764" and "LAPD416" pointed out all his lies in his profile. He's changed his profile 4 times to cover up the lies they keep catching. Notice how his profile says, "I can't lie about my age anymore". He claimed he was a IL State Trooper at 19. That's not possible. He's a troll.

  • @MrJowee Actually, filming someone without their consent is in violation of federal wiretapping/eavesdropping laws. According to the Supreme Court, you are eavesdropping by use of recording device when a) it is unknown to subject you are recording them b) you do not have consent to record subject. Over 30 people in 12 states, including Cali, have been arrested on such grounds.

  • @crownvicdude Also, posting recorded material in the way of the public eye is also illegal without consent of the party or parties being recorded. So, even if an officer, or anyone, agrees to be recorded, they must consent before you post that recording in the way of the public eye. And if following someone around with a camera isnt stalking, it's just pure harassment.

  • @MrJowee This is the problem with cops, EVERYWHERE!

  • It's perfectly normal for the media to film police officers in public conducting an investigation. Haven't you ever seen the show COPS?

  • Natelp85 just gave us the typical unwarranted paranois exhibited by most shitbags with a abadge. The officer was out of line. He is a civil servant in public. "keeping the peace? The cop was technically "insighting a riot". Obviously he is juust as ignorance as the rest when it comes to actually KNOWING the law. FUCK HIM.

  • It is your opinion that you think that the officer is intimidating the filmmaker. Now my opinion is that the officer confronted the man because he did not know who he was, he did not know what he is going to do with that footage. Like I previously stated, their are cases of people stalking police officers to seek revenge because the officer may have arrested them in the past. This officer is making the filmmaker aware that he notices he is being followed by this man, and he confronted him on it.

  • Here is my opinion on cop watchers. These are people who can't seem to follow the rules and they have had many run ins with police officers. They feel like they are being harassed all the time and they cannot understand why. (Because they break the law) So now, they found this nifty little way to get under the skins of their proclaimed "harassers" They claim they are doing because it is their right and because the watchers need watching but in reality they only want to get their little revenge.

  • Most cop watchers had personal experience or know someone who had a personal experience with a cop abusing power and breaking the law themselves. But an individual's word vs a cops word, ignorant people like you 100% believe the cop. These people pull out the camera's now, leaving NO DOUBT! And as a result bad cops get busted. Period. Problem is most cops are trained to break Law's while doing their job. That's the reason the camera's are feared.

  • I can understand the importance to use video cameras on police especially during questionable actions; however, when you are following around officers with the camera for no apparent reason other than just to film them it raises question on the filmmaker. There are many cases of people stalking police officers to get retaliation. These officers have a right to protect themselves from questionable people just like you have the right to film.

  • Protect themselves? From what? Getting caught breaking the law or breaching the public peace? Nothing to hide nothing to fear. Amidst so much corruption we MUST watch the watchers. Why is it the watchers seem to be bothered by this?

  • To protect themselves from possible stalkers and people seeking revenge. Just last month their was a case of a man attempting to murder an officer and his family. In CO a man began filling the officer's home up with propane gas. Not saying this filmmaker is intending on doing such act. The point is people do stalk police officers and some people use their cameras as a form of intelligence gathering.

  • and some people pretend to be hurt and mug the people that come to help them. So let's make sure nobody stops to help anybody, then nobody would get mugged. Awful things happen some times. But bottom line, filming is not against the law. Authority intimidating and abusing is. It's also far more likely for a stalker not to use a camera. Draws less attention to themselves. So can this cop run up and harass somebody for looking at him, they could be a stalker too.

  • I am not arguing about the legality of the filming. I am merely stating that this guy with a camera is following around a police officer for some unknown reason and the police officer responded to the man's actions and confronted him. The officer has a right just like any other person, cop or not, you say, "Hey, if you keep following me around I am going to get you for stalking"

  • US CODE: Title 18, 2261A Stalking includes "with the intent to kill, injure, harass, or place under surveillance with intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person, and in the course of, or as a result of, such travel places that person in reasonable fear of the death of, or serious bodily injury to, or causes substantial emotional distress to that person,"

Officer in public can not claim emotional distress. (Many judgments on that already).

  • So now the officer THREATENS with ARREST (I'll get you for stalking) without any grounds or basis for such a charge. That's a breach of authority, and breach of the public peace. Thing about being a public servant (which is what the officer is), he is ALWAYS in the public eye. And with so much corruption around, a LOT of them will fear cameras.

  • There was no threat or harassment towards the filmmaker. The officer took notice of this guy who was constantly following him around with a camera and he confronted him. He doesn't know the guy or his history. He doesn't know if he is the guy he put behind bars years ago who is wanting revenge. Again, I am not against people using cameras to record a questionable incidents.

  • So, a BIG officer carrying a gun, taser, etc. Then threatens arrest for a trumped up stalking charge. That's intimidation, using their position of authority to intimidate. He also refused to give his badge number (maybe cause he did something wrong and didn't want to face the consequences??) With absolutely NO EVIDENCE OR BASIS TO ENGAGE the individual with the camera, except for claiming oh I think you may be a stalker, NOT ACCEPTABLE! PERIOD! That IS harassment.

  • And it is criminal for the officer to threaten, harass, or intimidate the filmmaker. Period. You just watched someone who is tasked with protecting freedom, harass and intimidate and individual utilizing that freedom. Something is very wrong in that.

  • I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS.

  • its funny because that first cop proved exactly why you were watching him, he threatened you with felony stalking, thats the point lol!

  • parecen policias mexicanos

  • He wasn't threatening anyone. People are so fucking soft these days, they get butt hurt if they get a stern talking to. Police Officers are hard like that to get their point across with no bullshit, they want you to understand that they mean what they say. They've dealt with assholes, drunks, immature kids, and if they're not like that no one's going to listen to them. Being witty with them won't help you and no one appreciates being followed around by someone with a video camera for no reason.

  • paveratzi follow public people like britney spears .a cop in uniform isnt that a public person?why arnt paveratsi harrased? and spoken to like the cop spoke,,, if they have nothing to hide why not foto graph

  • Not so thrilling

  • okay, so these people probably don't have jobs or any skills to get a job, so they spend their lives filming cops doing their jobs and doing them. Why don't you guys go get an education and then when you do get a job i'll come their with my video camera and film you while you work?

  • wow. seriously...get a freakin life.

  • Oh good god....

Here is a hint people ...

I don't care who you are or what you do ...

If you feel the need to say "that is not a threat" then you have said something you should not have said, I don't care if you "couch" it with "that is not a threat"

Shees.... if you don't understand something as simple as that then you are to stupid to be a police officer.

  • This is the exact same as when a employer places camera's in the building to view their employees. If the cop is doing his job there should be no problem, and most of the time cops do the right thing its just the bad ones that get all the attension. The Cop doesn't want the camera on him for the same reason any one else would while they were on the job, they dont want to get busted slacking on the job.

  • welfare receipients unite! yay obama!

  • you guys suck. You want to harrass the shit out of cops but when someone is breaking into your house at 2:30 AM you want them there in a flash. Get a life. get a job. do something productive for society.

  • Cops are payed to be at my house at 230am. That doesn't give them a license to harass people. It is 100% legal to videotape people and cops in public property.

  • that cop did NOTHING to harass this douche, he confronted a jackass following him with a video camera looking for a problem.

  • Hey dumbass. Read my comment again. I was supporting the officer.

  • hey shitbrick, i was referring to abefromquuertown's comment

    have a nice day kneejerk

  • thats right every tax out of every working person's check pays a cop's services, like the song says "we give you a job(tax money) and a gun to protect us but instead you intimidate and rob us" aint that the truth.

  • No, fuck you, people have a right to cop watch. Cops are the ones doing the harrassing!

  • well, probably like the people filming this, you are an uneducated person is makes uneducated statements based on no evidence whatsoever. Get a life dude.

  • I dont like cops....but harrassing them is not cool...

  • this is gay

  • I really don't like cops myself but what the fuck is the point of stalking cops with your video camera? Get a hobby, get a girlfriend, get a life.

  • This guy just follows and films cops all day? What a loser.

Acting all bad-ass: "then charge me". This guy would be crying like a little bitch as soon as he went to jail.

    Real tough guy.

  • Shut up. You know it isn't true. Cop watching IS a form of stalking. You have nothing to prove other than your video is just a waste of time and money. And get this... you are lucky that you didn't live in Germany during world war 2 or you would be shot on site if you did something similar like this! The other thing, your video isn't proving much of what you know about police brutality because there isn't any!

  • So you think Nazi Germany is a model for America? You are a fucking moron. People can flex their rights whenever they please. So shut the fuck up. You should be ashamed to call yourself an American.

  • You are nothing but a gutless punk who gets off on antagonizing law enforcement officers.

You couldn't care less about "rights" and look like you're more interested in catching a "fuck up" to try and get a nice payout from.

  • Why don't y'all stick your complaints. It's people like you who allow abuses of our rights to grow to epidemic proportions. Cops are public servants, on the tax payer's payroll. Anyone has the right to take pictures, or video, of them, and what they do. Videotaping cops is legal. This attitude by civil servants must not, and cannot, be tolerated, or our freedoms will not remain intact for long. A cop does not have carte blanche to trample the rights of citizens going about legal activities.

  • You guys should video tape all the illegal aliens in your area. You know who they are and what they do.

I have had the unfortunate opportunity of being assaulted by a Police officer, then handcuffed, then he proceded to fill my face and ear canal with two different kinds of mace. I know about the bad apples out there.

THanks to all the real cops who do the job with integrity.

My point is police abuse is a problem, but your time I think could be better served doing watchdog work on illegals.

  • And what do they do? By the way how did you get into my country? Nothing wrong at all with filming the cops. AT ALL. They need more over sight.

  • why film cops when you know it pisses them off?

your just looking for trouble. No wonder cops harass you people.......

  • someone know the name of the music ?

    lool

  • why dont you go to mexico and film the drug lords? see what that gets you

  • why dont you cook a hamburger and put chedder cheese on it? pretty irrelevant huh?

  • you know whats irrelevant ....thats right! you and your canadian views

  • Who the hell cares about cinco de mayo any way! Why the hell should we Americans celebrate a Mexican holiday anyway. Who the cares about a small battle the Mexicans had with the French in 1862! The Mexicans should have paid there debt to France and there wouldn't be any 5th of may to celebrate!

  • Good Job..

  • is the guy filming a wetback? that might explain why he wastes so much time filming cops at bullshit de mayo

  • lol i hope you copwatch people have good lawers

  • This guy filming is an idiot. Who go to a party to film cops? Dont go to a party and meet chicks. What a waste of time

  • i love when cops make up the laws as they go...

  • I'd hate to sound like a total facist, but cops are human beings too. They have fears like anyone. Can you imagine working in a job where some of the people you have to protect want to KILL you?

Also, aren't there far more productive things to do with your spare time? You could be taking real political action, like protesting or writing letters.

You're no Rosa Parks. You're a guy giving cops the willies, so get over yourself.

  • Police are not legally obligated to protect anyone. it's an oddity, but true. It's one of the reasons many gun enthusiasts insist on carrying firearms.

And the are also legally allowed to lie in their attempts to gain evidence against people. Dishonest police are as much as a reality as anyone else. The community has a right to ensure that their police follow the law.

  • who the fuck wants to stalk that bitchass?

  • Also relevant is California Penal Code 646.9 concerning stalking. Paraphrased in the easiest-to-convict way it is, "Any person who maliciously annoys while not engaged in constitutionally protected activity and makes a credible threat with the intent to place that person in reasonable fear for his or her safety is guilty of a felony."

  • PENAL CODE SECTION 422.6-422.95

422.6. (a) No person, whether or not acting under color of law,

shall by force or threat of force, willfully injure, intimidate,

interfere with, oppress, or threaten any other person in the free

exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him or her

by the Constitution or laws of this state or by the Constitution or

laws of the United States... it keeps going but you can google the word "under color of law".

  • I would file federal charges against the officer for acting under color of law. This is harassment and he is no longer protected by the government.

  • Good work, keep up the good work.

  • dumbass leave the cop alone. Im starting to realize that the majority of "police brutality" is caused by citizens acting like dumbasses!!! How many Americans do you see following the cops all day? ITS NOT A NATURAL, DAILY THING!!!! Anyone, cop or no, cop will feel threatened a little by this, no?!?!?

  • this moron would probably like to annoy a cop to see if he can get beat up then sue them..either that or he gets turned on by men in uniform...either way, he's he'll be the first screaming like a little girl if he ever gets attacked by someone and calling for the police to help him...estupido.

  • Scumbags who do this shit are complete losers who wish they could be a Cop, but don't have the pride, integrity, or guts to do the job.

After watching this, does anyone wonder why some cops have attitudes and don't give anyone a break?? Would you if you had to put up with this shit from people on your job??

This guy is doing his job, trying to support his family and gets fucked with for no reason. If I were a cop, I'd fuck with people like this nonstop.

    BTW, fuck your mexican flag!

  • go die bigot scum you imbred fuck unable to comprehend these words i type unable to basic math since your brains are too fucked and you have to many fingers to count that way. your wife is hideous from all the times you have beaten her because of her inability to be pleased by your 4 inch penis.

    BTW, fuck your confederate flag!

  • Annoying little shits? you jerkoff!

Let me ask you a question, what if these people were whites, would you see a turnout of multiple police officers?

Oh yeah, by the way, cops just like civilians get killed everyday,no big thing right?

  • It is NOT stalking to film a pi-law enforcement officer,if this person had no intent. However, this character should of answered the pig of why he was aiming the camera at those oinkers.

  • you fucking liberal hippy dipshits! why dont you let the police do their jobs and quit being annoying little shits.

  • yeah, all cops are trying to do is help out the citizens.

  • put yourself in the cops shoes. you are a cop out there enforcing the law. you arrest a lot of people. someone might be really pissed off about being arrested so they decided to film your everyday actions and to try to figure out your daily schedule to plan when he/she will have you killed. cops do have hits out on them by gangs so they have a good reason to seem worried when they are being tapped. shit if someone started tapping me i would freak out too. id wonder wtf is going to happen soon.

  • KLLMTRLGRLZ you are a fucking retard. The camera bitch has no right to film the cop if he asks him to stop. Show me where in the constitution it says that. There was not even a police force when the constitution was written you dumb fuck.

  • let me ask you somethng...would it bother you if someone followed you around at work video taping you? The obvious answer is yes. Any other answer is a lie. As far as I'm concerned, if a cop asks to stop following him, then u stop

  • What a waste of time, watching the cops do their job, babysitting the scum of the world

  • wow those cops were brutal, poor babies get a life and a job. u say the cops are trying to be above the law but theres nothing they did wrong get a penal code and learn the law.

  • get a fucking life.... hope the cops dont come with you get robbed or shot

  • On every one of these videos, someone reply that "if your getting robbed are carjacked hew do you call"WHAT are the police going to do?Ha.He'll take your statment and if he trips over the criminal on the way back to the donut shop,he might make an arrest.

The point here is that cops are not above the law.If thats to simple for you to understand, than you should shut the F up.

  • Get real dude. You're a fucking loser who is probably just butt hurt because you got a speeding ticket and the cop wouldn't let you out of it. You instigated, or tried to, instigate everything with the cops. When he asked why you were filming him, your true pathetic self showed through with the answer, because I can. That's the answer of someone who is trying to start shit, you little bitch. You're not doing anything but wasting air and youtube space. Fuck off.

  • He has a constitutional right to do so - regardless if you feel its ilogical or not.

I was just curious, was there suspicious activity by those cops? Or was he just trying to invoke the confrentation to show how aggitated they get over nothing?

Please respond back if you know.

  • they are the judge and jury out there but feel uncomfortable nowing they are being watched WTF

but yeah this guys got a lot of free time

  • fuck that we cant let cops get away with shit any mmore and this can be an actual paying job

  • See the cop is lying, good thing he is being videotaped.

  • Follow cops around and videotape them. Dude, way too much time on your hands...or do you use the footage for something "private" when you are home at night? LOL. Frickin loser.

  • Shame on you. All you do is instigate concern. No one likes to be videotaped. Specially police officers. You do this because you're a loser who wants respect the hard way, by demanding it. You're nothing but a sorry piece of shit who seeks negative attention by filming these officers. Yeah, we all know it's your right to do so, but there are limits and one day you'll find out the hard way.

  • All police should be video taped.

  • Amen. You couldn't have said it better man.

  • I'm sure this guy doesn't have the balls or courage to protect this country. So live the easy life buddy and let someone else protect your family, neiborhood and life. If you would've done it to me that camera would've been so far up your ass you'd be filmin out your mouth.

  • "to protect this country"

    from what ?

stop saying "protecting americans", when u choose to become a cop, its for a good reason, not for pullin drivers everyday for little speed excess

  • Yea, its because you can't get into college.

  • u should've died in iraq u faggot. Keep watching these pigs OP. It's your RIGHT!

  • you got some fuckin balls. its sad that your still breathin. You wouldn't last 2minutes in the Marine Corps or Iraq you punk pussy bitch. Please give me a place to meet you somewhere so you could refresh that comment to my face. I would be glad to reply back. So smoke your weed, fuck your buddies in the ass and dont forget to ask your mommy and daddy for your lunch money. So untill you have the balls to face me and not the computer, please dont waste your time bitch.

  • lol look people a tough guy on the INTERNET! LOLMARINES. You know you are the trash of the military right? They send you fools to die first because you have no future. Wonder why most marines are minorities? The Gov wants you to die. Meet me in boston mass, 0800 march 10 at the state house. Watch this dumbass come.

  • what ever asshole filmed this needs to exercise his right to shut the fuck up and get a life. I was in the Marines and deployed twice to Iraq. It was it wasn't for soldiers, cops, fireman, and everyone else who protect and serve this country YOU WOULDN'T BE THERE FILMINING THIS. The U.S. would be in even more chaos. So have some fucking dignity and respect. Let them do their job and carry on with your boring life because one day you might need them.

  • these same old dead boring hot cinco de mayo

  • that cop was probably twice your age and he would still kick your ass. try doing this down in mexico, you would get your camera shoved up your ass. your lucky to be in a America and that cops here arent like cops elsewhere in the world.

  • pretty sad that you are filming these guys that make AMERICA better, you don't want the police patrolling the streets go aways. You walked up to the cops to begin with and threatened them, they didnt threaten you, you ididot. There are laws and they have to uphold them, great day at the fair huh, taking your woman and kids to harass police officers, nice example of a father!!

  • s.R COPS ARE DICKS MOST OF THEM THEY CAN SUCK A DICK AND IF ANY IDIOT IS GONNA ASK ME WHAT WOULD I DO IF A NIGGA IS TRYING TO BREAK IN MY CAR OR MY HOUSE . WELL THEN ILL FUCK ANYONE UP WHOS TRYING TO FUCK WITH MY SHIT ,

  • That was a waste of time... hey buddy, when one of those "kids tryin to have a car chow" homies break into your car, I hope one of those cops shows up and ask you how you're doin'. Phuckin Low life. Five on it says you're just some punk who doesn't have the balls to do what they do.

  • LMAO I wonder how many cops it takes to come up to a guy with a camera and say, "How's it going?"

  • your a worthless idiot. get a life.

  • You hit the nail on the head. That's why cops don't want you filming them. Fuck the police.

  • Cops don't want people recording them because they might see some guy they want to beat and don't like it recorded.

  • LMAO @ 5:31 "How are you?" " I do not obliged to this conversation." "...just saying hi."

  • What you filming the police doing nothing for? Just a waste of tape mate. A few out-takes is okay but if you are looking to catch the police doing things they shouldn't be doing then you need to be a bit more discreet about it. Keep filming them though because you will get them abusing their power some time, most of them do. Click my name to see the police harass me for filming them from my own front garden.

  • hes stalking the cop, against the law, this guy is a trouble maker, the cop was very nice. period

  • I agree...that officer was really polite

  • he was only polite because he was on camera

  • there was no threat to make an arrest. get your facts straight.

  • Watching this video was a total waste of time I'll never get back. You people need to get a life.

  • We need to stand together to stop this Harrasment people do not realize many of our rights are being broken!!!

  • Yup, looks like a bunch of law enforcement officers doing their job.

  • boring shit dude.

  • It's one thing to have a video camera in the event something happens. It's quite another to follow someone around, filming them, because you've concluded that it's just a matter of time they will break the law, if you follow them long enough. That's annoying and it is a form of harassment.

  • Please be careful of how you portray the police today, you might be kissing their ass tomorrow if you get into trouble. They will remember what you do....and treat you worse if you are arrested. Please stop being a wuss and get a life. Please.

  • Think about it this way - what if I came into your workplace, and filmed you, hoping somehow you'd screw up, and I'd be able to get you fired.

  • The police have the power of the state behind them. They can ruin lives with reckless abandon. That's why the must be watched with vigilance.

  • You guys are total idiots!

  • While I'm all for you guys uncovering police brutality I think this is just an example of you guys being annoying!

  • congratulations. thats some real groundbreaking footage there! Way to stand up against the man!

  • They don't like it when the camera is on them. It drives em crazy then can't do what they normally would, unless they do it and steal the video tape. It's called accountability. They forget they are public servants, enployed by tax paying citizens, hired by the citizens.

  • Going to a Cinco De Mayo celebration in Santa Rosa to watch the fat cops stand around and do nothing is unproductive.

  • I'm all down with watching the police because I truthfully do believe that we as the public shoudl ahve the right to know if the police are following all of the codes of conduct and I am aware that the police in Sonoma County are among the hardest to deal with but this seems as if you are egging them on. Go to Rohnert Park and chill on Snyder lane. They will pull over a teenager and rough them up a little bit within an hour.

  • Looks like some random asshole is following a cop around with a camera, yes u can charge someone with stalking. I would have gone for harrassment. This guys an idiot, I hope you get arrested.

  • What a joke ass pig, last time I checked he's armed, whats he worrying about??? just does'nt want to be seen drinking beer, and stuffing his fat face with taco's, felony my ass, the other guy had about 50 witnessess around that pig would have got his ass owned if federal court...Poor little piggy mad because Taco Bell would'nt hire him as the night shift manager when he was 19, so he became an unskilled, uneducated, unelected govt worker.

  • rant continued: i would also bet that the odds of a "terrorist" being there plotting out some....i dunno, car bomb..suicide bomb...what ever picture u have in your head are very unlikley compared to the odds of some ass cop there harassing people.

  • i would also like to know why u think that just because u r filming the police is an automatic red flag in your head that you could, over anyone else, become a threat. face it that cop was just being a prick. its not cops that i hate, its cops that abuse their authority to bully people around.

  • i just found it amusing how you brought up terrorism...if must be miserable living in fear like you do. And by the way, my criminal consist of 2 speeding tickets and i have been at my current job for going on 7 years now and i don't use drugs...come to think of it you should goto work for the police department....your really good at profiling.

  • its a fucking public street!! you have a right to tape anyone or anything...the way the police officer was talking to him and the way they were all acting when they saw one damn camera in the middle of a hundred people would make me a little suspicious also. do you guys think that police harassment doesn't happen...we would all be smart to follow in this guys footsteps and keep a camera on us at all times.

  • I going to start by saying peoplesuck77 & britlad964, both of you come off as racist A-holes. I live in Roseland & I think 90% of the people I see down my street are very friendly. Not all Hispanics are illegal immigrants. As for cop watching, in his case the cops were doing their jobs. Being a presence can help prevent crimes from happening. However, there are a few officers that give the force a bad name. It's a hard job they have. Not all police are f-ups.

  • yea how about you leave the cops to do there job and stop harrassing them the property they searched in other videos probably belonged to illegal aliens who should have NO RIGHTS whatsoever and should not be protected by the american govt+deported imediatly.

  • Wow Copwatch! You guys are ridiculous! Get a life. You demonstrated how the Officers keep the peace during what becomes a sometimes violent crowd. Freakin' illegal mexicans cause nothing but problems during Cinco de Mayo and you are looking to find the Cops doing wrong. Next time I hope it gets violent and you are stuck in the middle and no Cop helps you. It would serve you right!

  • hmmm....you know its kind of hard to trust the police when they act like criminals...although i shouldn't even take the time to try and educate a god damned racist. get a life.

  • Good video. Well done. They seem to have something to hide the way they walk away or turn their face. I can say in their defense though that in this day and age of terrorism, etc, filming police can appear to be a threat. Any good cop should challenge you for filming them. However, once they find you are just filming them for accountability, etc., they should most definitely back off. Trying to intimidate you shows they have something to hide and are uncomfortable being filmed.

  • terrorism...sounds like you have been watching to much fox news. By the sound of all that music and mexican flag waving i'm sure theres an extremist muslim right around the corner. As for the police, to say that every good cop should challenge you for filming them is just as much of an idiotic statement as the terrorist statement.

  • Any event that draws large crowds and police can be considered high-threat. The fact that it's just a Mexican celebration is irrelevant to the issue of security. A cop should challenge you, because while filming police is your legal right, cops want to be able to identify you if you become a threat.
