You can add any sound cues. This could be anything at all. So, yes, soundtracks do work quite well. Add a second sound track in matinee and add your music there. That way you can still add sounds on top of that. If you watch my Maladroit machinimas I did it this way.

@DarkShadowRage2 With your sound cue selected, go to matinee, click your sound track, then press the ENTER key to add the sound to the track
