If weed went "mainstream" (i.e legalized), more resources could be put towards refinement! If we took the money we spent on seizing it and put it to research, who knows what would happen. @highgroundstrike alot of stuff can be dangerous when done regularly. As for the smoke argument, I couldn't agree more, smoking is a strange concept. That's why we have vaporization! If weed went "mainstream" (i.e legalized), more resources could be put towards refinement! If we took the money we spent on seizing it and put it to research, who knows what would happen. Those new vapor cigarettes? Picture a vapor joint! We need to realize that weed has untapped potential.

@NitemareBoss I agree, but I do think that legalization could help curb the dangers involved with Marijuana. So much weed is tied in to shady organizations because our government forces it there. Were marijuana given the full benefit of science (hell, take 1/8 of the money spent on marijuana seizures and you have like, a billion dollars for marijuana research!), we don't know what could be achieved.

Whatever the issue may be, they blame everything else but the weed. I find that very weird, that they will try to find what ever cause to add to the issue but will rule out the weed. I've seen them freak out at the people that love them the most for no apparent reason, or because they couldn't afford to pay for their everyday fix since they were 12. Plus you'll need to have a BUTTLOAD of cash to be able to afford the plant, unless you grow your own, in which case would take you years to grow enough to get yourself "OD'd" from the stuff. But, like I said, is technically impossible.
