  • Does anybody know whether there is a LP or CD of all these oldtime SA music out there? Apparently the Gallo factory was destroyed together with the master copies back in the 80's or something. What a loss. Is this true?

  • lol, and was that UPstairs or downstairs at the Clifton.? You no doubt remember the Grotto in Sea Point and Blazes at the top of the Sanlam building. What was that jol called at the H Inn in Bellville .... Omega Ltd also played there.

  • Les Haupt here. Louis Greef, I remeber him - we shared a g/f - Linda Claasen heh heh, The Clifton Hotel .. McCullys at the Chelsea Arms ..was that at top end in Wynberg opposite Maynardville? Sunday nights there..till 9pm ...what memories. Rotunda in Camps Bay ..and, the ultimate - Pig and Whistle - RIP Jimmy Thaine.

  • Damn, I remember this song sooooo vividly. About the hardest rock tune you could hear on "Radio Highveld" in the early 80s (Colin Fluxman and Wessels Germishuizen DJ'ing...)
