The game is great the garphics arent perfect but it makes up for it. If you are looking fora co-op experience it is well worth the $60. Not a upbeat story like battlefield or Mw2 but more like a real life Sim. Lots of talking and action.

The game made the PLA incompetent, but in real life the PLA is highly unlikely to underestimate their enemies.

I bought the game today, played it until level 3, and I'm here to say that the gameplay was amzing. The graphics are very nice, animations work well, I didn't experience any bugs except for one graphical glitch of a floating weapon when I die. Audio is amazing, and the missions let off some humor. I recommend people who have patience and like to play war simulation games to buy Operation Flashpoint Red River. Just so you guys know, I played this on console, and I enjoyed it.

@the999zombie I haven't tried the online. The one thing that pissed me off is that there is no online PVP. It's just online missions. Think of it as the spec ops mode in MW2.

To be honest, this is more like an ad for the USMC (god bless 'em) than a good ad for this game. While other FPS games have promo videos that make you feel immersed in the tension and controlled chaos of warfare, this game has a piano background and guys standing around. The game might be good but this video definitely won't help it sell.
