Thanks for taking a look! You're spot-on about simple... Simple is what it's all about! And fortunately, simple generally implies quick, too. :-) This dish I find particularly yummy. Something about the lime juice and the crunchy nuts.
Wonderful, I went through all four pages of your fabulous creations and loved the vids I saw. I am all about simple raw and eating according to what my body is craving at that meal time. I don't like spending hours on end to create a fancy raw dish, simple and being able to taste the beauty of whole foods is gorgeous! I am very fond of fruit meditation too... avocados and coconuts are wonderful to do it with. Long live raw! Ps. you are right, Gratitude has the BEST deserts - keylime pie mmmm
I so glad you found them helpful. I know what you're saying about taste. One of the things that surprised me most going to fresh, whole foods was the sheer amount of natural flavor I had been missing before (either cooked out or masked). Like, celery is actually a bit salty! Cafe Gratitude is one of the few places I can eat totally worry-free -- except perhaps for the # of calories in the dessert and the hit on the pocketbook (totally worth it though!)
Celery, spinach, sea veggies are all great sources of sodium - raw olives too (they are also amazing potassium poppers). It's so wonderful to be able to experience TASTE not fake, adulterated, processed and table salt packed foods for "taste" - you know? Which Gratitude do you go to. I go to the one on Harrison : ) love it there, such good energy.
Omg I'm in novato:)

I'm in San Rafael, so I go to that one. It's kind of "dangerous" having one so close! ;-)
