tongues is not the sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit. its a gift of the Spirit.

The Holy Spirits main function is to reprove us of sin in our life. anyone who thinks that men who were willing to be burnt at the stake for translating the bible, like Luther and other reformers were not filled by the Holy Spirit are ignorant of the truth. they never spoke in tongues. its a new phenomenon in the church apart from the 1st century.

No one speaks in languages supernaturally-certainly not the different languages of those gathered around for a distinct purpose purscribed by God. The scripture you cite (Matt.7:21-23) is actually describing Pentecostals who are about to be cast into Hell because they had the wrong Jesus and the wrong Holy Ghost.

I am no novice to the subject of tongues. I have spent 25 years studying it some of those years none stop. If you have a question about a specific verse I would be glad to answer it.

These so called followers of Christ mock the Holy Ghost and think its funny while leading others astray. I agree the truth will set you free. the word "unknown" in 1 Cor 14 was not originally in the greek writing of Paul. It was added by the king James translators. Also, there is no evidence in scripture of a so-called "heavenly prayer language". All "unknown" tongues are false and tongues are NOT the only evidence of being filled with Holy Ghost. Tongues was one of many GIFTS used on pentecost to spread the gospel to all nations of the WORLD. Satan is decieving elect with false unknown tongues.
