A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
You know, if you close your eyes and just listen, it actually sounds like he has a bit of a lisp and says "Ba Da" in the middle. I hear it every time with my eyes closed.
OMG! That was freaky! You open your eyes, he says, Da-Da! But when you close your eys, he says, Ba-Ba, and when you turn off all the audio togather, you can clearly see that he's saying Ga-Ga! OMG! That is freakin amazing! I'll open and close my eyes throughout, and it's like, "Wait, is this the same video? Did someone switch a video within one millionth of a second or something?" HOLY SHIT!!!
Esto sucede porque el cerebro escucha el sonido "Ba", pero ve en la posición de la boca "Ga". Al sumar los dos, interpreta el sonido "Da". Es una ilusión audiovisual conocida como efecto McGurk.
It's a study on how your brain overrules what your ears hear with what your eyes see. When you see a mouth, tongue lips and all, making a "da" sound, you expect to hear "da", and in this case because of the similarity in the sounds, your brain says, "HE MUST BE SAYING "DA DA" SO THAT'S WHAT YOU HEAR." When really he's saying "ba ba".
I am still hearing "BA BA". Though this is an interesting theory, it just isn't working for me. It just strikes me as unusual that the words don't match up with his mouth. I guess I have watched to many poorly dubbed movies for this to work.
he says baba if u close ur eyes u hear baba. if u open them and look at his mouth it looks like gaga but it sounds like dada. he is really saying baba. do this method and u will find out wat he is saying
What am I saying? Play the clip several times, alternating between looking at the talking head while listening, and listening with your eyes shut. Most adults (98%) think they are hearing "DA" - a so called "fused respons" - where the "D" is a result of an audio-visual illusion. In reality you are hearing the sound "BA", while you are seing the lip movements "GA".
My mind = blown. Wow..
