Hi, just out of interest for you I sent an email to hilleberg asking the best way to set up the nallo 2 in strong winds they said the vestibule into the wind so the outter fabric does not touch the inner that was the way they tested the nallo 2.
@markwalkr1 Mark, thanks for that. It makes sense, as the wind then couldn't press the fly against the inner. Wish I'd thought of that, but I've always been programmed to put the rear into the wind. I'll know next time.
Hi iv watched this so many times, have you had your nallo out again in worse winds or was that enough for you, iv the same tent & was wondering how much more it could take. Cheers for a great vid
@markwalkr1 Hi Mark. That's the worst so far, but I'd be happy to test it in slightly higher winds if we got the opportunity. As long as the back's into the wind it could probably take quite a bit more, but if the wind moves around to the side it wouldn't be so much fun.
Great video, thanks for posting! How bad was the noise inside the tent, where you able to sleep? Is there enough room for two people and their packs in the inner tent? I'm thinking of get ting a nallo 2 or 3 for use in the Highlands so it would be great to get your thoughts and experience.
Hi sailsteve. It was pretty noisy, but we were able to sleep, especially as we were quite tired. I wouldn't put packs inside the tent, as there isn't much spare space, but there is plenty of room in the porch. It's a great tent, small and light to carry, and I wouldn't change it.
Wow, that's some serious wind, now I'll have to go check out the Nallo 3 again. Right now we are looking at the Big Agnes Copper Spur 3 to replace our REI Taj 3 (zippers suck!).
Hi I'm a boy about 18 years old. I would like set up a Nallo How and where should I do it. Thanks :D and great video !

The one thing a lot of people forget when sleeping out is a good pair of industrial ear plugs.
