I do not know why everybody in Russia knows of Frank Sinatra, but no one knows Nat King Cole ... But ... compare and pointless. Nat and his songs are the best!
The younger generation (well not all of us) isnt missing out in fact we are embracing it..... Why now look to the future but also take hold of the past... people like Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra give us [the new generation] hope of that one day just one you won't look to see boys sagging and girls in teeny weeny shorts!
Yes this was written by Steve Allen, one of thousands he wrote, but one of the few to enjoy any degree of popularity. I had the pleasure of hearing Steve Allen in a small venue. He was doing a book signing at the Borders book store at the World Trade Center. A very small group gathered here Borders had set up piano. He shared lots of banter with the group including that is considered a musical savant.
There is a great rendition of "Impossible" by Diane Schuur, I don't find it on YouTube
Nat was a treasure of the last century and he will surely still be a treasure in this one and beyond. Thanks so much for this beautiful video and thanks for keeping his memory alive. Cheers my friend

I thought listening to music while doing homework would help me do better, but I just found myself twirling in my chair and singing along :P

When grief is sweltering heart, this song was able to make the issue a little overcome. Nat King Cole, you are my idol :-)

The younger generation is missing "real music," it's such a shame.

It's a little known classic and most people do not know that it was written by Steve Allen.
