Yes, I can see the Hitachi logo, but they were installed by Dover, and ThyssenKrupp maintains them.

Maybe Dover had a contract with Hitachi for their escalators, so maybe it was a Dover-Hitachi joint venture for making and installing the escalators.

If you have a look carefully at the beginning of the video you will notice these escalators are actually Hitachi :)

Yes, 24" is narrow, and other rare escalator brands besides Hitachi are Peelle, Haughton, Mitsubishi, ThyssenKrupp, and Dover.

Yes, they are, but UT Austin is planning to use ThyssenKrupp for their escalators in the next few years, and there are some other places out there with ThyssenKrupp escalators.
