I was diagnosed "chronic paranoid schizophrenic" and told I would get sick again if I didn't take my medication. I had NEVER felt worse than when I was on those pilIs! 'Happy to say I was noncompliant and have been free from psych meds for over 27 yrs, managing to live a pretty normal life aside from the permanent side-effects I attained from taking them. I know of two that have recovered fully from schizophrenia. It's caused by stress and eliminate the stress the so called life long disease will go away. I personally witnessed this in my own family. One member lived till 86 another member is drug free for 5 years, doing OK and the other I am still fighting for against people who will deliberately cause stress to throw him into a psychotic mode. It's all stress related. Stop being negative and putting on unnecessary stress and it goes away.

Biological psychiatry has reached its end point, just like phrenology. Behaviours ( coming from thought , feeling and emotion) are not diseases. The drug Co.'s make billions from the sale of drugs, and the people in power, ENJOY being in power, so the science of "drugs for life" isn't going to change anytime soon.
