@jipi0001 No shit the Camaro will handle.... GM gave it the best Magnetic suspension they had. Which is probably the best suspension being offered in production cars. A time of 7:40.2 is considerably disappointing. Still pretty damn well for a muscle car. But GM could've shaved some weight to make it 3,600 pounds, that could've led it to maybe a time in the 7:30s!
Uhh...first of all, the GTR could reach 0-60 in less than 3 seconds with launch control. Secondly, the GTR does have supercar-like performance. Thirdly, why even mention the Camry? If you want to see a Nissan GTR with over 1000 HP then watch the ALPHA 12 GTR, then come back.
Have you even watched InsideLine's video of the 2013 GTR? If you haven't, then I suggest you do because the GTR already blows away most Ferrari and Lambos at the track...and it's only a NISSAN V6 TT :D
@CyberGTX09 launch control does not magically push a 3800 lbs car... it only has 545hp, so i doubt it would accelerate as fast as my r1 which does 0-60 in just under 3 secs. difference is the bike has a power to weight ratio that is 3 times superior and a driver operated clutch that allows for the most efficient launches.
if i want a fast awd, ill buy an old impreza for 3000 $ and use a tiny part of the 97000$ ill save on a turbo 4 thatll have a lot more hp than that nissan v6 tt

@CyberGTX09 in the video you sent, it did 3.1, which i doubt it even comes close. with a 3 feet rollout on my bike i would prolly do 0-60 in less than 2... about the turbo, it is only used to increase the volumetric efficiency, not yet as efficient as a motorcycle engine in this case but with a much higher boost, this is how 1000hp engines are made. a dual clutch tranny is very good but it doesnt do anything special for the launch, AWD is for low grip terrain.

I've test drove a 2012 GTR once and the most I've clocked in from 0-60 was 3.1 seconds...so of course a GTR can achieve less than 3.5 seconds. Maybe you should test drive one yourself so you will believe me.

with such few horsepower it simply cannot accelerate this fast, not physically possible even if it has infinite grip when launching

Dear MotorTrend: I would like to see you test for the "ultimate awd sports car" a car for all seasons. so cars like the s4/s5, evo, sti. a car thats just as good on dry pavement as it is knee deep in snow. Sincerely, a fan up north

@camaroman101 Yes it is. The 6.2 is close but ecoboost edges it out slightly. Maybe a singlecab 5.0 but there kindof a strip down model

@motortrend You can go to all truck videos you can find. And all comments are trash talking about who has the fastest trucks, chevy dodge and ford is in the game now with the ecoboost, titan and tundra. You would be suprised at what youll find.

You guys need to settle a huge dispute on youtube!!! Take the fastest trucks that dealers have to offer and race them!! Extended cab 6.2 chevy and extended cab ecoboost. Single cab dodge 5.7 single cab toyota 5.7. And extended cab titan. I know thats not there intended function. But tell that to 100,000,000s of youtube viewers. Lots of people would love to see that believe it or not.
